NCAA 05-06 Rosters Project

What's going on guys, I actually want to recreate the 05-06 rosters for NCAA 13 with your help. Wouldn't that be great to coach Reggie Bush in is USC college career all the way before draft day ? And that is only the beginning because you got freshman's such as actual NFL stars from today like Tebow, Bradford, Stafford, Cushing, Matthews and much more. The Goal is to make it the more accuratly and realistic as possible, that mean's : time, dedication and effort. With all of those three points, we are ourself's into business.

You might ask yourself questions about it and im sure I will all ask that for you.

How ? : Well it might take lot of work, but every sources on the internet and in the magazine's is usefull to it (Player's info, Depth Chart, Equipement, Size, Overall). With all corrections from each others like the acctual community rosters we going to pull it off.

Why ? : Because you might know that the 2005- 2006 was probably one of the best draft class of college history on the other side you can recreate the glory path of today's NFL young stars.

When ? : There is no need too rush for it, the longer = the better, I really want to put time into it too make it a satisfaction when playing it.

Hope you guys will join me on this journey to make it a fun comeback into that college year.

What is your source for finding players and such for that certain season? Old Athlon books?

What is your source for finding players and such for that certain season? Old Athlon books?

I use many research on google like scout.com is quite one of the best for it, for the equipment I just check images, and for the depth charts I do use nationalchamps.com there is some archives of past season's for example here is the Ohio State one http://www.nationalchamps.net/2005/s.../ohiostate.htm, and for the magazine I do use athlon's books.

I'm actually a big time Ohio State fan and I really remember those seasons from 2001 to present so I can definitely help out with editing Big Ten. I'll edit my first post and put in links for full roster of all teams back for the 2005 season.

Unfortunately, I already tossed out my old Athlon maganizes so I'll have to resort to Sports-Reference.com.

What are the plans with UTSA, UMass, and Texas State? Simply use their roster from when they were in FCS anyway?

Some teams football sites actually have archives and keep rosters and depth charts from their seasons, which also might help - on a quick search I found UMass roster and depth chart from '05.

Will take a look at Ohio State.

Great to know that your willing to support and help, the more ressources, the better ! And that's a great question, for the new FCS teams I will try to get info's from the past season, but if there is none I will use the current active rosters
