That camera angle is awful. If it was higher it would be cool but I dont like the field level views.

There are no tight zooms to give it that authentic looks, and they don't really cut to multiple players like last year. They actually added post play cut scenes back which totally kills the look, just like NCAA, because they look like they are from hand held cams. It just looks so much more like a video game again than it did last year.

Played one quarter so far. Game is absolutely gorgeous.

Commentary is tons better, but still pretty awkward a lot of the time.

HD version of the camera looks much better.

Its a demo, but with 2 weeks to release the actual game engine isn't going to change. There will be options and features turned on but the overall gameplay is NOT going to change in 2 weeks...

I am sure I all ready know the answer to this but were the running animations improved at all in the demo compared to all the early videos we have seen? Like most people here I am hoping for a complete overhaul of the running animations if not in Madden 13 then Madden 14 for sure! :wink:

I really hope Madden 13 will be the first current gen Madden where I do not want to trade it in after only 2 weeks of gamnetime. Anyway I am still looking forward to trying the PS3 Demo when its released later today.

Thought you would like to see this Sage, this is from the guy who played it two weeks ago at EA because he is helping them with MUT13.

Nah I definitely know they are better, but the design/direction is still horrible. Just seems like they took steps back instead of improving on Madden 12.

Presentation yet again gets a major boost and now feels even more organic. I agree with some that say the camera is too far away BUT it pans in on the action well enough(guess we all have to get 60+ screens now LOL...well we ARE gamers arent we? hahahaha)

Gameplay feels great only way to put it even without slider tweaks seems they took my adive or stole it who know

Either way playing Madden 13 is like playing football nuff said there...

It's demo but progressive lighting doesnt seem to be in. though NCAA's lighting isn't as good it felt like in NCAA's game the lighting changes changed onto what you saw on the field.

That said overall I like it not in love as it's not the full game yet time will tell until season ticket NOT Midnight Release like other years thank goodness

Same two views every play? I'll certainly look for this when I play again this evening. That would def be going backwards from last year, but it's just not something I've noticed in my time with the game.

The demo is more than likely 4 weeks old and the strange physics interactions could have easily been corrected in that time. The physics in the FIFA demo almost made it unplayable. By release while not perfect they were very much improved.
