I think what's killing me is that it's still the Madden engine feel. I really thought this new physics addition (that's what it is, it is not an entirely new engine) would calm the players down some. Instead you have these players flopping around all over the place in very odd scenarios. I had one defender get knocked to the ground and his whole body did a 180. he was flat and just quickly spun. you mix that with the players just moving in all kinds of weird ways and it just isn't easy on the eyes.

I was just hoping that jittery, frantic Madden touch would be gone.

anyone else noticing assisted tackles not working this year in the statistics? getting 0's across the board.

Lost in Overtime on my first attempt with the 49ers Giants lineups...

Great game but Manning beat me in the end. Loved the game. Physics during hits are crazy. Commentary is excellent but a tad repetitive on a few comments.

But overall its a great game, controls are fine, I see a few changes to the play system I will have to get use to before really going into a Dynasty...But I love this game....

I guess we'll know next Friday for sure, but I talked to a guy on Twitter who played the full version at EA two weeks ago and he said in 2 full days of gameplay he only saw that weird flopping type stuff happen two times. He said the replays are way better in the full version and the physics have been tightened up a good bit. We don't have a definite idea of what build the demo is but I talked to Shopmaster and he said it played like the build he played in June at the community event.

How do I say this, lets see, Tackles appear more elastic? Body animations appear different upon impact than last year.

Commentary and an attempt at a game recap would go such a long way. I was smiling and happy with what I was seeing and the way the game was flowing, then old EA reared it's ugly head at halftime. I just wish they would see that there is a huge crowd and fan base that truly wants these things.

First time I loaded Madden up in many years and didn't turn the commentary off. It's very solid. Others have said it is repetitive but I don't really see that.

Things I noticed: realistic diving catches by wideouts, running backs slipping down on carries, nice tackling, crowd is aware (crowd was roaring as I was driving as the skins and went dead when i threw a pick six), less 'kill' tackles. Special teams seems untouched

M13 kind of gives me that organic feeling I have been wanting. Good job guys!

There are way to many big hit's IMO for one thing. .

It's the NFL for Christ sake. Go big or go home IMO.

other than the issue with defensive stats(asst tackles) and FAR too many fumbles on special teams, im loving it. the gameplay itself which is really what one should be looking at in a demo is darn good. Im enjoying the WR's this year, the good one's are ridiculous. the CPU has even done a decent job with eli to cruz against me and made some really big plays. Im loving the tackling, the running will take some getting used to.

the crowd to me is one of the biggest improvements. finally hearing a "roar" instead of silence when you score a touchdown is nice.

it just has a better feel, also doesnt have that sort of empty presentation from last year. announcers are a huge improvement which obviously isnt saying much but it still is something. I cant wait for the release, every play has been different for me, the end around is now pretty darn good without being a bit cheesy, I like the game, it has more of a sim feel that I think once I use sliders will give a better game than 12 by far.
