    crazy speed guys

So just for fun I wanted to start a new franchise and tear it right down and build it up from scratch. Using the jays I put up all the established stars for trade and let the cpu do the rest.

All offers from cpu controlled teams plus my own guys I now have Jose Tabata, Anthony Gose and Billy Hamilton in the same line up! if u want to add a B speed guy I have Jurickson Profar as well.

Just not fair to any pitcher when these guys get on, It's a track meet!

Well having Ellsbury and Crawford together is pretty nice...
I'd call Kalish a "B" guy, hes pretty quick as well...

Pierre and Schaefer at bad either, not that great at the plate though, also Eric Young...

Does your speed and weight matters when it comes to your speed? Like, is a 99SPD 6'4" 200lbs as fast as a 5'9" 150lbs guy?

I don't believe so, I guess the only way to tell would be to try timing them somehow

Gonna have to agree on that. I don't think I have seen anyone faster (except Billy Hamilton). The Royals don't give him enough opportunities or situations to run though...

I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

Tony Campana is pretty fast. His game speed is I feel like 5 points too low but he routinely beats out anything not hit right at them on the 3B/SS side of the IF in real life. He actually beat out a hit with the second basemen going to his right and he didn't go all that far he just flat out beat the throw.

Not a great hitter, but if he can get on base Carlos Gomez of the Brewers is crazy fast and his base running ability (on the game) is up there with the best of them.

Podsednik may have slowed down a step, but it still pretty damn fast for an under-utilized OF.

                        Re: crazy speed guys

On youtube there's a cool split screen video of Campana and Billy Hamilton getting inside the parkers--I'll let folks look it up themselves if interested, it's worth it-- essentially they look about the same speed, but then they both slow down before crossing the plate, so it's hard to tell. Suffice it to say they're both REALLY fast, surely deserving of a 100 speed if anyone ever has been. I have to think Campana has to be the fastest guy on the online rosters, and the only guy who might be faster would be Hamilton.

As for fast outfielders, I'm very happy with Bourn and Heyward, they basically cover everything but the left field line, which Martin Prado does his best to defend. Heyward's speed is WAY underrated on most of the rosters I've seen. I'm not going to say he's as fast as Bourn (who I'm not sure is as fast as Campana, much less Hamilton), but he's at least a high B/low A and a very good baserunner.
