I am working on a 'Making Madden Better' video tonight... But I agree with the CPU Clock Management...

Also, I have noticed a bit of ease in completing vertical passes.

I just noticed that you cant pump up the crowd on D or silent the crowd if your the QB by clicking down on the left stick.They must off taken that out of the game...

I dont know what yu guys are seeing...Maybe bc yu guys are playing it on X-Box lol But for the PS3 this is the best Madden game I have ever played!!! The RTP are great... I had two guys go for a pick and Brandon Meriweather picks off the pass and wen he came down he landed on D.Hall's shoulders... I was like "Wooow"... In the same game i was down by 3 in the 4thq with mayb like 37 seconds left on 4th down...Wen I couldn't find a open WR I took off wit RGIII and my RB who didn't see me take off got in my way and we ran into each other lol So Real...Idk what some of these guys are seeing but RTP to me is like none other

other than cpu clock management, and the issues recording assisted tackles, its pretty darn flawless on my end once I put sliders in.

change route up on bottom left control thing

The only problem I have with the demo is the commentary. I love how the intro skit is put together in the booth, but I would rather not have that and have a more in depth HT show and more enthusiasm when big plays happen. I just finished up a great OT game running with the G-Men vs the 9'ers... I was down by a TD with 7 seconds on the clock as I connect with Hicks in stride to tie the game as time expired and I tell you the commentating on that play totally killed my buzz. They simply just stated that it is now a tie game... Then I hit a game winning 48 yd. FG, still absolutely no energy in the final call of the game. Very lackluster to be polite, other than that I love the way the game plays out. A solid slider set will have this game in my tray for a long long time lol

I guess you haven't seen a game broadcast by Jim Nantz and Phil Simms in real life. Let's just say they're not Gus Johnson or Kevin Harlan.

Like the Seahawks with Russell Wilson starting at qb I can only be more dangerous when I have t.o. On the roster think I found my third team to play with Detroit saints and seahawks need to more so I can switch up when I play online

Really digging this game but I'm wait like a month before I get it want to wait until full retail version is out with some sliders in everything in place but it's looking like a hit out of the box.

Might truly be able to enjoy a virtual football game in a while since its so much harder to get 11 on 11 football in real life

played 1 game (Giants) so far on all-pro, so my impressions are a work in progress...

as a person who said they would not buy the game on day 1, i have to say that after playing my 1st game im still holding firm on that stance.

imo the game feels floaty. when i was running with A.Bradshaw, he felt light as a feather and i dont mean that in a good way. i didnt feel any weight to the players i was controling.

also i hated that they made me do the stupid hop juke every single time i tried to make a simple hard cut with the left stick or everytime i went to juke. (i wasnt holding in turbo in either case).

passing was ok, tho 2x i pressed up to throw the ball into the deep middle to hit a post route to Cruz, only to have P.Willis jump and int the ball.

tackling was awful (part i disliked the most) and the same break tackle animation triggered every single time. and i saw alot of ragdoll stuff which looked plain stupid.

graphics are pretty good but to me the color have a cartoonish feel them, instead of a realistic feel. cartoonish doesnt have to mean bad visuals, but for a football game id like a different feel personally.

wasnt really paying to much attention to commentary.

i can see why some folks would be impressed with the demo as it definately didnt lay an egg, but like i said i havent seen anything yet to make a person who wasnt going to buy the game sing a different tune. but we'll see there's still time left.

ok, so i played my second game seattle (me) vs washington (cpu) - all pro, except this time i introduced sliders into the equation.

I basically used sec-elites m12 sliders except i upped QBA to 8-9, upped PBK to 5, lowered WRC to 35 and i basically kept everything else the same. same sliders for both hum/cpu. slow speed 0 threshold. (you can check out his thread in the sliders section for the rest of his set.)

since theres no hate in these bones, let me say that the best thing that EA did was to give the ability to adjust the sliders with this demo.

im not tryna say that im ready to buy at this point (because the game is bound to need atleast 2 patches) but the sliders put the game at a playable level and have me wanting to explore the demo a heck of a lot more than i did after playing my 1st game.

so yeah check out them sliders and look into a few adjustments i made (or your own) and maybe you'll see what im seeing.

like i said its still not a day 1 purchase for me and as far as M13, i honestly dont know if ill purchase at all, im still in wait and see mode..

however if this game continues to shows promise after the retail drops, and sliders dont reset to default in user vs user games, and they improve upon M13 with M14, gotta say i could see myself giving them the benefit of the doubt with M14.

alot time still left in between then and now, so hopefully EA continues to move in teh right direction.

Oh, and I really like how at the end of a play, if players are piled onto each other, how they have to fight to get back up. I saw no clipping and they had to work to untangle themselves from each other. Pretty cool. And the physics are great because you can now see things that could never have happen in Madden before. When I ran into the back of my lineman and ended up tripping over his feet, I thought that was awesome. It's just little things like that that can bring life to a game and keep it feeling fresh. Also, seeing the opponent's receiver get helicoptered after a catch was pretty awesome.

I'm mostly enjoying the game. I might buy it if there's not any horrible bugs in connected careers.

I liked the passing in NCAA and I like it here too. The infinity engine is neat. Still a wip and seems to switch between relatively convincing and awkward more often than you'd like. Biggest disappointment with it is that tackles still feel extremely weak. Running still feels too disconnected and floaty, but the animations themselves look good enough to me.

There's a nice base here, I pray the transition to next gen doesn't screw everything up.
