    Just Play 2k13 Sliders

JUST PLAY 2K13 SLIDERS by StraightBaylien

NOTE: These sliders are CHALLENGING. The sliders bring a challenge and a level of realism, you really have to play SIM BASKETBALL the ENTIRE game to even stay in it at times. On offense, if you want to come up the court a chuck a 3 every possession, you're probably gonna fall behind and fast. MUCH like you would in a real NBA game, remember, its a lot easier to have a bad game than it is to have a good one. The same for shot selection, only shoot open shots or good looks. If you take contested shots all game, your percentage is gonna tank.

On defense, you really have to pick and choose your spots for blocks and steals, if you hack on every shot/reach opportunity, you're gonna get in foul trouble quick which makes it hard for any team to stay in a game. Use the sticks on defense to contest shots instead of the block button everytime. It will help you stay out of the way of a lot of ticky tacky fouls, especially in the paint/post area.

Coaching. I recommend turning Offensive Playcalling to AUTO in Coach Settings. ALSO, enable the FULL PlayVision. What's the point of having a coach if you're not gonna use him right? I'd suggest staying away from calling your own plays, and if you do, I would stick to the quick plays and ONLY when the original play breaks down. This brings a level of realism to the game, for example, if you call a post play for Dwight Howard, but he's getting doubled, maybe you call a quick play for Kobe to get open to try and exploit the double team and the lack of a defender for the CPU.

These sliders will take a few games getting used to, but trust me, these combined with the 2012-2013 Just Play Collab (360) project equate out to unparalleled gameplay performance.

    Re: Just Play 2k13 Sliders

This may be a dumb question, but what does the defensive assist strength do? I know on 2k11 for the default setting it was at 50 and this year on 2k12 it was at 0. I never understood the meaning for that slider.

The slider just helps the USER Controlled player keep up with the CPU Offensive player when holding the Defensive Assist button (LT on 360), and with these sliders, I'll take all the help I can get. But it IS all USER PREFERENCE

The only places you can adjust Player Speed are in Season Mode, Playoff Mode and Association Mode. I should have included that in the first post. That's my fault.

I would suggest trying them on All Star, if you feel the CPU is too easy, bump it up to Superstar and try that, etc.

These sliders are tough enough on All Star, imo.

I know you said to turn fatigue off but do we do that for association as well? I'm only asking because rotations don't translate to association

If i only play qiuck games , like Nba Today, should i also use Game speed 55 ?
Or should i slow it down , cause i cant edit the player speed in main menu ?
Does it have any effect on the roster ?

Don't quote me on this but I believe you have to start an association, change the player speed, save your user profile and then when you play in quick play it'll be adjusted.

Like I said dont quote me on this because I cant quite remember where I heard this so I might be way off base
