BILLS fans buying 13' Prepare for disappointment.

Thanks to Rynoaid for posting the pic, but again we have gotten the shaft. Another one of our players has NOT been updated, and he is one of the most popular players on our team and the league coast to coast at this point with a HUGE fanbase.

All outdated or generic cyberfaces and NO EXCUSE. I don't mean and am not trying to "take my ball and go home" but there is just NO EXCUSE for this, and I for one will not be purchasing this game at all. I am baffled that players around the NFL are not getting a simple PORTRAIT update in a game that says "13" on it. EA has truly taken it to me as a fan of the BILLS, and a supporter of Madden this year.

It bothers me because it's part of the game. The fact they don't takke the time to update something as simple as a portrait on my teams roster is unacceptable and i have 0 reason to buy a game labeled "13'" if my team looks the exact same as it did in 12' and 11'. These aren't just random players, or lackluster players, they are the KEY players to my teams offense, and it's pretty annoying that they got 0 updates in a game I am paying $60 for.

Let's do the math here...It probably costs pennies to update a player portrait, and although you guys say my money doesn't matter to them, look at it this way. What would have costed them pennies to do just cost them $60 from me.

I agree that the absence of player portraits are weak. It's not that hard to upload pictures...

My point exactly, I am sure people are gonna come in here and pick on me to no end because of this, but why am I buying this game again? I have the same portrait and models in 12' minus the NIKE uniforms and physics. They just took me out of their target market as a Buffalo fan for the disrespect they gave one of my favorite players on the team I have watched since I was a kid.

It all is bro. I am not expecting every single Buffalo Bill to be updated, but Fitz, Freddie, and SJ13 should have been updated PERIOD. I hate this company for this, it only shows how much they don't pay attention to teams.

I'm not as upset as you are because I've come to expect the laziness that comes with adding/updating player portraits in Madden, but I stand by your reasoning. Like I said in another thread, EA could find hundreds of OS users willing to work for free on updating rosters.

Guys there is NO programming that goes into swapping a portait! NONE! We have all modded games in one shape or another, and I could use TEXMOD, and replace a friggin' portrait in Madden for PC. Why the hell can't EA patch this?!

If I were a company, and all fans demanded out of my lackluster efforts was a simple portrait update, I would pull my team and get it done. Instead they are truly losing a customer, and no it's not just because the of the portraits, it's because of the continuous lackluster roster effort and the favorites they play.

I'm a die hard bills fan, but not having updated pics/stadium does frustrates me but definitely not a deal breaker.

I'm thinking that what we'll end up seeing in the game before too long is "gameface" portraits of every player...and then can be edited. This is the company that makes The Sims after all. I can't believe they wouldn't end up doing such a thing.

The fact they haven't updated Johnson and his stats climb season after season is just unacceptable. If I am getting the same BILLS I got in 12', then it's a deal breaker for me.

So leave then. You coming in here acting like that is just trolling. This is a worthy discussion, and exposes EA's practices of delivering to us what they feel is an updated NFL game... a players appearance on an overlay is just as much of a part of updated presentation as a teams logo.
