I hope 2k didn't give Justin Bieber a lot of money to appear in the game. If they did me and I'm sure alot of other people are going to scream because then they could have given that money to Pippen.

Justin Bieber did talk about being on 2K13 and showing love to Ronnie2K, and since Jay-Z and Bow-Wow are most likely somehow in the game, J.B. would be in the game. I rather have 1 Bieber than 5 Guys named One Direction. Hey at least Bieber likes basketball?

I respectfully disagree. I'll take 92% of the Dream Team over no Dream Team at all, particularly if 2K allows for roster management and the ability to create our own missing players. For instance, I'm extremely glad they didn't go the all-or-nothing route with classic teams. Even for squads missing prominent players (Nick Van Exel on the '98 Lakers in 2K12), the ability to fill out the rest of those rosters ourselves made their inclusion very rewarding and satisfying.

I agree. I've been waiting on this for a long time. To have the Dream Team in the game is great!!!!! I don't see what the big issue is w/ them not having shoes that aren't generic when we can edit there shoes. The game hasn't even came out yet and everybody is complaining. There are plenty of other announcements that will be made. I bet there will be more complaining. Scottie not on the team? Bummer, hopefully he is on the game period, but I doubt it. #HEX!!!!!!!!

So once you remove the hype and get down to the meat and potatoes of it, we just got 2-4 new jersey textures, 2 new jersey logos, and a few new cyberfaces.

Whoop-di-doo. Sarcasm aside, PC gamers have had these teams for a long time.

Announcing the Dream Team is DEFINETLY alot better than that crap about Jay-z being excecutive producer/a cd this is at least basketball related important in game news

I believe bow wow would be in the game any since there were hidden celebrities from 2k10 last year, there will most likely be celebrities from 2k11 in 2k13.

Hex editing and REDitor aside, people forget that the only way we were even able to get DLC players in the main game was through a glitch initially...so it won't surprise me if they try to make it difficult to work around their stipulations. REDitor is great, but i assume it takes months to make it 2k13 compatible.

It's also interesting how the law of supply and demand work...if the 93 Suns had always been on there with Barkley no one would care...just like the 80's Sonic uni's..I had considered trying to track down a copy of the GOTY edition just for that uni which is stupid...People would be salivating over Stockton had he been left off of the Jazz. I guess the competition for the best Pippen CAP starts on 10-2...

Very true on both accounts. It's been interesting to see how coveted Reggie Miller and Charles Barkley have become over the past two years. There's always been super fans of the two, but it seems many other folks were clamoring simply because it was a matter of wanting what we didn't have (which isn't to say their inclusions wouldn't be welcomed). I just feel if they'd be included in the first place, other omissions would have just taken their place.

@Sellaz32...I totally agree with you. The Hex editing does take months...and as 2k fans, we always want more more more, primarily because 2k has spoiled us. But, I think that's how the NBA 2k series continues to improve, because fans like us continue to demand bigger and better, and 2k to their credit, at least in my opinion, continues to take the fans' requests seriously and albeit not as rapid fire as we fans would like, implements improvements steadily every year. The most impressive thing about 2k for me is unlike EA, they don't rest on their reputation due to lack of competition, rather they continue to strive for bigger and better each year. IF they implemented too many improvements/changes in one version, then what would be the rush to purchase the latest version? First and foremost, 2k is a business, and they do things intelligently. They make little but significant improvements every year, just enough to keep people buying the latest version. Smart business, smart company.

Has classic teams besides the Dream Team been confirmed for 2k13? I would think no Pippen could mean a reduction in classic teams.

Amazing announcement, BUT, no Pippen on classic Bulls teams then i'm not buying the game. I can live without him on the Dream Team.

As i've said before, no legends, then i'm sticking with 2k12.
