1st year: OC @ Texas State
2nd year: HC @ Texas State (offer after Dennis Franchione left to take KSU job).


hopefully stay here a year or two and then bolt somewhere. It's not a bad job if you can survive the first few years.

2012-13 Florida Atlantic OC - 15-11 record not bad for FAU

2014 Iowa OC - won national title with 2 losses lol

2015-2017(Pres) - Pitt HC

Not a bad career path IMO. I would rather have not won the NC at Iowa and stuck around for a few more years to make it a more realistic one though.

1-2 year: Navy OC (got a couple other OC offers after my first year)
3rd year: USF HC (kinda ridiculous how many HC offers I got but thought I'd make it somewhat realistic and go to a not so good school)

Just finished my first year as Army's OC.

What I would really love is to take over as Army's HC but I know thats almost impossible to do because as I make myself and team better I'm also making my HC better and therefore giving him extension after extension.

Although the TSU guy in this thread did have some luck with that situation...

Why'd you take the demotion? If it was for a challenge, I would've gone all out and gone to an even worse school. But I don't think I'd stoop so low as to taking an OC job after winning 2 titles as a HC.

I don't know, I didn't sign the USC extension, and there were no more HC positions.

I haven't bought the game and coach carousel is important to me. Does it seem more realistic this year compared to last?

It was pretty realistic last year, but it feels the same this year.

I only take HC jobs. I am currently HC of UTSA.

It's not as realistic as last year. You didn't see Head coaches getting fired after going 12-2 or even worse taking over as OC at anothe. r school. Both of these happened with OK State HC through simulation and in reality, that would never happen. There isn't as many changes as last years and I'm not sure why. Of the 120 teams at the FBS level, less than 5 had the entire staff return this past season.

1 year as OC at Western Kentucky.

1 year contract at Marshall, getting them to #25 but losing the conference.

Next year got my dream job offer from UK. So I am there for a while hopefully. Actually have some decent seniors and have found a ton of gems in Kentucky in recruiting so far. Got a 3 star 77 OLB from Kentucky! Freaking awesome. Loving recruiting and loving this dynasty so far.
