I wouldve of liked to be drafted. It wouldve shown if the team would have stuck to their scheme.

the thing about being not being drafted prolly comes from the fact that you can create a player anytime during the season. it would be odd to get drafted and then going into week 5 or 8 or even the super bowl.

Thanks to everyone who has posted info in regards to the work around for switching teams to play out other games. Although it's a long way from full 32 team control it does make the game more appealing to me.
Just to expand on this a little further, does anyone know if the switch team option is still available during the playoffs. For example could I still switch my coach to allow me to play in the Superbowl?

from what we know you can switch at any time. we dont know how the simming is handled during the playoffs, teams might have to sim to end if they dont make it. but you could avoid something like that if it is how they handle it by swapping to one that goes on to the next round before you advance.

again dont know how its done just presenting an option for if its done that way.

How will all these CCM things work in an "Online Franchise" setting with a league full of 32 Owners?

Are the Off-Season tasks treated like "weeks" like they are in NCAA?

How does FA Bidding work when your bidding against 31 other User Controlled Owners?

Thanks for the response. Sounds logical. Let's just hope that's how it works. It's somewhat disengaging when you get to the end of the season & if you fail to make the playoffs you miss out on the post season showdowns.

The auto-generated undrafted rookie free agents no longer exist. Draft classes are now much larger, however, so if you want an undrafted rookie, you have to go manually sign him.

free agency is treated just like weeks in NCAA. dont know yet on the draft and such yet. bidding is more like last gen madden where players have different levels of wants. some of the wants that we know about are money, coaching, and winning. each team chooses who they want to bid on and then you advance the "week" and players decide if and who they want to sign with.

The CC manual is awesome, love the range of choices for coaches and players. Love all the differences between the teams too, can't wait for Madden now.

Yea he isnt considered a legend but heard he can make a comeback.

Any word on what older players may comeback? And also if a player that retires in year 5 is there a chance they will unretire and comeback a few years later?

Whoa, so legends like Kurt Warner might make a comeback? That would be amazing

Just a quick question:

Say I want to start a CC using a created Head Coach, would my season targets be lower at a team like the Rams, as opposed to a team like the Packers?

For instance, it could be win 8 games for the Rams, where as the Packers would be an expected Superbowl appearance?

yes, but is the rating known or hidden ? If it´s the same (hidden) as last year there could still be undrafted FAs rated 75 at first that the cpu signs while releasing/not signing their solid players, only to then find that the undrafted FA actually is rated 41.
(for the User that´s a nice feature, but the cpu would then just carries those 40 rated players on their roster until their contracts run out)

That was my main gripe with the game last year, the CPU carrying a ton of absolute no-hopers while tons of decent FAs were available.


EDIT : But i understand you correctly that the problem at the start of the franchise can´t exist anymore because there won´t be random players generated to fill the rosters ?

Haven't read through everything but, say I have a power run team and want a change of pace quick back or 3rd down back. Will that player be downgraded because he's not the ideal fit for said offense? I wouldn't want every back to be a clone of the other. Same with receivers. I'd like a deep threat, a slot type that can run routes and catch in traffic.
