Its not about him being a white WR...its about him being a white guy named "Treon"...its unrealistic no matter how you turn it....im not sayin its all that big of a deal...but dont try to twist ppl words up callin things "racism" when in no way shape or form was that whats being implied in that specific discussion.

And another thing, i lmaoo when someone brought up "have some imagination"....you know what, your exactly right...so when i play this game...im going to "imagine" i see no zig zag running..im going to imagine there really is OL realistic interaction...im going to imagine that Carolina uniforms are right...im going to imagine if i draft a WR for the 49ers and he has #80...ima imagine he has #17... lmao

Ofcourse, but that was never the point and i never said i wasnt..the good out weighs the negatives imo, im just personally tired of ppl getting attack for criticizing and giving their own opinion...its like its blasphameus for ppl to voice their feelings on something without a witch hunt coming after them...this use to be a forum where ppl could voice their displeasure without constantly gettin ridiculed and not having to constantly defend themselves...i dont know what happened...

I get that everyone is STILL angry about the whole editing issue (I'm not too crazy about the inability to edit my players numbers, I felt we still should have had that) but then people start to trash the things that's actually good (like this draft for instance), that's just the "EA hatred" everyone seems to harbor these days, and it's kinda gotten on my nerves. I can understand being wary and untrustworthy of EA, but seriously, why don't we try looking at the glass as half full instead of half empty?

I understand, but the problem is ppl HAVE been looking at it that way for the past 7-8yrs and they still get burned and disappointed at the end if the day...cant really blame them for finally being fed up this go around..im just saying

The draft looks great! Really excited to hear more about my fictional players. Before you would just draft a guy and not have any idea how he was in college really. You would have to assume most things based on their skill ratings.

yea i love this draft it makes me not miss draft classes the backstories are awesome and they have actual skip bayless logic in his tweets why cant friday come so i can get my season ticket release

ehh i like to run deep into my franchise years and the reasons i was able to do that and enjoy it withstanding mediocre and repetitive gameplay, presentation and features was the ability to edit upcoming draft picks

smh but thanks EA i really will delve right into ur fake storyline full of kids of imaginary NFL players and cousins to non existent players and try not to kill the voice in my head for reading the tweets in the voices of uber douchey schlereth and dick bayless

I see so many negative comments in regards to the storylines. In head coach, when a player had a background where he was related to another, that other player was either IN that draft class(onken) or in a future draft class(boma brothers). is it possible that they are just players that were already released into the game, say...James Smith is a player that entered in the first draft, then 2years later, they say "Oliver Smith, brother of James Smith"....

I just want to make sure its actually just totally fictional players, and not legit storylines since the names remain the same, couldnt it technically be the same way it was in hc09, just where this time a boma or an onken can turn into a bust, or be hurt, etc?

could be 100 percent off on this, I just wonder why they would copy a fun formula from hc 09 but make it with players who dont exist even in their ccm

So when you have a semi functional pre draft camp as early as MADDEN 95
its kinda hard to accept this BS 15 years later

dont be mad at me because your playing the consumer role of a simple minded easily satisfied loyalist
thats what EA has you on their flow chart as i promise. therefore u get NO advertising/ incentive to buy thrown your way and they may even find a way to charge you ADDITIONAL for the game (season pass)

the only reason EA gets away with this is because people who love football or grew up on QUALITY madden's still buy it. same with basketball, people stopped buying it so they had to make it better or stop making it

You see, here's the thing though. I simply just do not care. EA has me as an easily satisfied consumer? So be it, as long as their games are decent. Madden 12 was not decent, it was terrible, which is why I didn't even buy it (or Madden 11/10 for that matter). Madden 13 is already an upgrade from that and I don't even own the full game yet. Yeah the old Maddens were much better, that's why I still own them and play them from time to time. I'll admit, I'm not hard to please because at the end of the day I know it's just a video game and I probably won't be spending all that much time on it (being a college student and all). I'm not asking for the world (like so many others are) just give me a decent game that gets me through the week until Sunday.

Basically, in a nutshell, Madden 13 is better than Madden 12, therefore it's worth my money. Does it have problems? Yeah and I could make a list. Is it enough to have me complaining or not buying the game at all? Nope. But that's just me personally.
