ranked games need to have simulation sliders

2k online has to be hall of fame with simulation sliders. this would cut a lot of problems out like the constant reaching and people ripping players with centers and stuff. if we are playing for ranks it should be the highest difficultly and make people actually try to play leave the pro and default for the unranked games and/or custom games. this year the three point slider needs to be at 47 or 48.

besides why should someone play for money on the easiest level and default sliders

Ranked is mostly for casual players and 2k has bad rap concerning low difficulty quicj matches. They just need to bring back lobbies

I agree, Rank games are a joke. It's like playing the demo all over again. If not bring back HOF Lobbies please. So we don't deal with these Cheesers!

Yes, but when i played in HOF lobbies in 2K11. There were legit sim heads in there. I rarely got games where i had to deal with cheese. I really miss the HOF lobbies i had so many good games in there.

These are the settings for online quick match. You can check them out if you want at the end of a game. Once the game completes and before the player of the game is announced, go to the menu, options and gameplay.

This was a surprise for me as I thought that the quick match was on All-Star, default but it is on Superstar simulation.

I think when we play a human opponent, because they make mistakes, the level seems easier than when we play the CPU which generally doesn't giving us the impression it's on default and lower levels when in actually it's the human element added that makes it easier.

I always play user user games in play with friends and have played hundreds on hall of fame simulation and I agree that cheese is still present there. The difference is probably in shot timing mostly, with smaller windows for perfect releases on hall of fame than say pro.

This can't be right because fatigue is 100% on.

I'm not a 100 percent sure, but i think there's a difference between fatigue which accumulates over someone's season and being tired during a game.

I thought the same but playing 12 minute quarters on hall of fame mode if you use a guy for 48 minutes, they rarely get fatigued which was a surprise to us as well. I think fatigue is more for say an association where guys would get tired after playing many minutes over the course of a season - it's more of a cumulative effect.

I see the Gatorade symbol from time to time but that is just being tired and not fatigued in my opinion. You can check energy level during a game if you want and see it's hardly adjusted.

Fatigue might also be broken like speed is, it's hard to tell.

You can find the screen I found and while it's certainly possible it's incorrect it's there for sure and you can find it yourself at the conclusion of any quickmatch before the player of the game is announced.

Yeah that is the what I understood from 2k as well. Odd though that the system doesn't show it that way.

Re: ranked games need to have simulation sliders

This game is a mess 5 on 5 user vs user. The balance in speed along with the slow passing/catching animations ruins the experience user vs user. The ball should be able to move faster than the defense. That's not the case in 2k12 most of the time. Cheesers and players that don't play the right way are not punished in this game. It's very disappointing how 2k12 plays user vs user.

Also the AI won't move to areas they need to in 2k12. If they are open they will just stand still or won't cut to the basket when they should. Also a lot of the layup animations are slow, but the defense is super fast. Online is 10x worse because of the lag. (lag is always there even when it seems smooth, it's always a bit slower/non responsive than offline) Not to mention the lack of contact and sliding.

This game plays horrible user vs user online and offline. Difficulty level and sim sliders doesn't help the user vs user experience. 2k12 is best played against the computer period.
