Not saying it will, just saying there just can't be much lower they can get, and with the state it's in (whatever stage that was), there's always a chance for it to be better. Never said it's gonna jump up and be 10 miles better than 2k or something like that....

Wow...early build or not....that was an eye sore. I can't believe that this is what they have been working on. And the damage control is not helping. AND this looks to be a download only title.

Cartoony menu, outdated graphics, super old animations, etc. This is wild! #nohope

This is from at least early May w/ the Brooklyn Nets & updated records. It might be even as early as mid-June since they ran the Finals rematch.

EA's statement shouldn't change anyone's concerns. It's that bad.

No way. E3 Build i saw (June) didn't have "Exit Game" and the teams logos weren't all bolded and weird looking in the selection menu. When they went by Nets at E3 it was shadowed out as in they didn't have a logo yet for Brooklyn. This is a later build.

Wow...how in the world does a company like EA put out something that looks like that? Those are some of the worst jump shot animations I've ever seen. I couldn't even tell that was Durant when they first showed his cyberface it was so bad...

And how is this much different than Elite? It looks so incredibly similar...what a disaster. Better be a $20 downloadable game.

The only thing I liked was the ESPN scoreboard (and the stats update under it). EA - 2k competition would be good for basketball video gamers, I hope it happens one day but for now there is only one basketball game.

The crowd was always good... they didnt even have to touch that and probably didnt. I cannot credit them for adding something already done, they have excellent sound engineers.

For a sec I thought the OKC uniforms looked a bit purple, or was that just me?

Still, and again if presentation was a pumping point, is has to be more than a screen wipe to really be more than what it was.

Very true about the atmosphere. And I just looked at the video again -- their unis do have a purple stripe going down the side! Wow....
