Oh my goodness!!! What a terrible game! I think that this game don´t be in the market in october... I buyed the 2 basket games since the origin, but this not have name... It´s worse than NBA Live 1996!!!

I'm literally shocked over what I just seen.

Seems like some of the replies here are giddy about how terrible the game is. As a hardcore Live supporter dating back to the SNES, I'm more sad than anything to see how far this series has fallen off. If I were working on this product, I'd start updating and circulating my resume. There are going to be legitimate consequences over this debacle...

I don't know guys. Even if this is a different build then the E3 build, it doesn't mean that they didn't have a updated build & just not showcase it at E3.

I'm not supporting this video, but I am interested in some type of competition. I feel it will better the industry as well as the reining champ & we all can agree that that is 2k.

Obviously there is still a lot of work that needs to go into this game & I sure hope they can deliver.

I saw the E3 build; when I asked about the lack of movement following the gameplay demo, the producer cited they had to turn off some of the AI due to a bug in that build. The video here looks better than what I saw at E3, but it's all relative.

Well, this is kind of what I expected. It's very raw and unpolished. Looks better than Elite (if you think otherwise, you should try Elite again), and the gameplay seems better too, which is like saying exactly nothing.

Early build or not, it's very generic. At least it's something. Competition is always good

About being only digital, I hope it's not, even if right now I wouldn't buy it (not even at 15 €). Since I've moved with my girlfriend I can't go online with the xbox, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Besides, I like to have my own copy of the things I buy

The only compliments I can give are a) the ESPN presentation looks clean, and b) the floor spacing is much better than 2K (I think because the EA player models are smaller than in 2K).

THIS IS TERRIBLE..EA cannot be serious..everything is cool right up until tip-off, after that i almost vomitted on my keyboard watching this trash..if you think anything after tip-off was good you're a die-hard nba-live fan and you just dont wanna admit how bad this is..EA needs to bow out gracefully and stop making basketball games..They cannot compete with 2k..If they put this out it is gonna make 2k devs slack off, which will then make the us suffer..SMH at this disgraceful imatation of a basketbal game

This alpha leaked or released video proves that nothing we have asked for has ever been placed in the game. From the opening it looked like Live 10 with ESPN presentation. Then from the tip ball it looked like Elite 11 with Original Xbox graphics. On close ups they looked decent, real faces with plastic animated skin and sweat. Jerseys had no flow and looked painted on, and crowd looked as bland as ever, no motion, no emotion, and overall not like a crowd. Just random Joe Smoe's sitting in some seats.

Let's give them props on the commentary, but not the presentation. Because replays and cutscenes were crap.

(Animations) Again this has not been tendered too, it's still the same stiff animations, from coming down with rebounds, to the lazy and crap jumpshots!

It's cool, that the person kept crossing over all the damn time trying to show off movements during moving the ball, but those movements were never an issue. Crossing over was never a problem and neither were controls, as we've stressed that over the years.

How can you make a new game, look worse than all the previous 5 combined. I think Dre' said it best when he said it looked like Sony's NBA 09, in some sense it does, but honestly NBA 09 by Sony was graphically superior...How is that the case with a EA Sports game, who have some of the best graphics engines in the world.

Guys I want to apologize for the negative backlash you guys continue to have, because me along with 1000's of others from OS, NLSC, NGE, IGN, etc.

We want this game to succeed, but you don't put your efforts in the focus point areas, that will make this game basketball. NBA Basketball, not street court and high school gym ball.

We need you guys to start reading those wishlist and understand what we are asking, what we are demanding, etc. Because we don't say that stuff for our health. We say it because we want a long time series to last even longer.

But you guys are seriously running this series into the ground, the talk of long term 3 year cycle babble isn't going to fly. You've had 8 years to get it right and it's still way wrong!!!

This game is crap, release the final product for $20 and move on to next year, because anything higher than that, and your asking too much for fans who are trying to stick by you. And for people who trusted you to release a product that would compete with the competition. Because this isn't it...

I think NBA 09 has better presentation, FAR more superior to this
