PS3 Graphics Issue

Okay I played NHL on my brothers Xbox 360 and then on my PS3. The PS3 graphics seemed kind of blurry and the lighting was really bad, also the white on the kings jerseys appeared kind of blue (assuming because of lighting or whatever). Keep in my mind I used the same TV for both which is a 32 inch HD 720p Vizio. No I can't just buy for the Xbox 360 because I don't want to have to go in my brothers room to play or bring his 360 into mine. He is always using it usually. Anybody else notice this on the PS3? I didn't have a problem with this when I played NHL 11 on my PS3. I have to say I am really considering not buying it because of this reason.

It's not the settings on the PS3 or the settings on the TV because Madden, The Show and all the others look fine, including NHL 11.

yeah i realized this man! i guess on ps3 the demo download isn't supporting 1080p HD???? But for xbox it is i guess... smh

the lightning is alright. But the ps3 version does look very blurry. I don't think the game support 1080p. I noticed that the replay looks really jaggy. Hopefully, all these issues will be fixed in the retail version.

My TV is 720 anyways so it doesn't matter to me about 1080. I am concerned that the graphics will look this bad in retail and if this is the case I will sadly have to pass on this. I really want to get it, but with the blur and not so good looking colors it's hard to give it a buy.

Can someone post some screenshots/comparison screenshots with this? I see it mentioned a couple times, but I don't think I'm seeing it at all on my ps3. ****ty tvs or connections maybe? No idea.

I too have noticed the blurriness. Hopefully the retail version is not like this.

I'm noticing this a little bit also. Screen looks almost like a slightly lower resolution and the color is a little off. Like it has a haze to it. Almost like you are looking at the ice through the glass. I'm assuming (hoping) this is just a demo thing. I'm sure the retail version will be polished up and purdy

I agree with you...demo looks like its a lower resolution and it is blurry. I put in NHL 12 just to make sure and it looks so much better than the demo...hopefully this is just in the demo and the retail version will look normal but I'm getting concerned about this. Especially since the I'm enjoying the gameplay so much with the demo

I found that mostly the demo looked fine, but in broadcast cam, and in some between-play shots, it looked quite low-res and fuzzy.

I haven't noticed anything like this so far. I've been playing on a 47 inch LED 1080p tv so I think that I probably would have noticed if something would have been wrong with the picture. Everything seems to be running smoothly and very clear resolution in all camera angles.

Maybe it's just you, but clearly it's a problem since so many others have said they are experiencing the same thing.

I agree that it is a huge problem if it affecting this many users but I would have to imagine the retail version will not be like that for you. I can't imagine they would even consider releasing a game that looks as poor as everyone has been saying it does.
