    Has the presentation gotten worse?

Is it just me, or has the presentation downgraded this year. Specifically, the new cutscenes seem to be lacking "life" for lack of a better term. One area where I think EA soundly defeated 2k for a decade was that the presentation seemed way more alive, but this demo looks like a 2k product to me. Granted, it is just the demo, maybe it's better in the full game, but is it just me that's noticed this?

It's just the demo, so alot has obviously been taken out of the real game. Notice in this game, they don't really talk about anything that specific in terms of teams/players or anything.

      I'm skeptical we will see?

No, the presentation has not gotten worse.

Because they're not pre-rendered cutscenes, they're real time cuts to various camera angles using the in-game players. It's the initial year for it, the clear goal was to set the foundation for far more realistic between play presentation for the future.

Is it weird that I think its gotten better? Sure, right now the players aren't doing a lot after the whistle, but I'm liking the close ups. In past years we've rarely gotten to see any closeups. Looking forward to seeing myself during EASHL games.

As mentioned above, the "cutscenes" aren't the pre-rendered scenes we've seen for the past __ years, so perhaps that's why they are less "alive". I don't agree with that statement, but that's what you're noticing.

I think it's gotten better for sure, even with my limited experience in the demo. It's nice to see players that are actually on the ice. Plus, we're talking between plays here, it's not exactly exciting in real hockey either... You either make a line change or you talk strategy and move to the next faceoff.

The only thing that I've noticed in the demo is that the post-goal celebrations are a little bit short. I love that there is no longer that awkward delay from the time you score to when your dude celebrates as there has been since they implemented user controlled celebrations. I also like that the high fives along the bench don't seem to be a cutscene anymore, but are also in real time, I'd just like to see a little bit more celebration first.

Overall it's such a tiny thing that I don't think I'll be losing sleep over it, just something I'm sure they'll tweak in a future iteration.

sometimes its a bit bugy. it look like nhl2kseries. but in general i like theses scenes and its good to have somme new stuff like that because it was boring to see the sames scene froe nhl09 to nhl12... and to see the same scene at every goal.

and when you see a guy who try to breath on the bench after a big hit. its really fun. all the bench scene are really cool in fact.

sometimes with other scene they are some probleme. if you hit the IA just before the whistle you will see your player glinding and the IA trying to hit it from behind
