I attached a picture for proof of having the game. Just noticed that Shane Vereen is still a silhouette. Last year I could understand since he was a rookie, but he is a second year player competing for a starting position

Using Simms & Nantz commentary a much needed improvement IMO. I've only played one game so far, but really like the new combo.

Perhaps because even the NFLPA doesn't have a picture. https://www.nflplayers.com/player/Shane-Vereen/7358/

This is true. However, Cam Newton also doesn't have a picture on the NFLPA site:

He has a portrait in the game though. Vereen could have a starting job so this is odd.

              No picture mode is sad.

              Replays are too fast.

No umm...I forget what it's called in NCAA but the dramatic angles on the highlights. Only the basic ones.

Had the Pats vs. Broncos, got a generic intro, was expecting a Brady vs. Manning line.

I scored 2 TDs with Gronk and there was no Gronk spike.

I'm not sure if it's presentation or gameplay but there was a spot that absolutely should've been challenged under 2 minutes and it wasn't.

              Good commentary in general.

              I like the menus.

Nice that us silver memebers can upload highlights and get rosters this year.

Better replays are needed...and the camera angles are not as good as last year.

I played Vikes vs Jags in the first game of the year and when the starting lineup pictures appeared on screen they showed the same person at both RDE AND LDE for the Jags.

I wish the stadium announcer would say player names instead of numbers.

Oh and also forgot no drive summery graphic after a score. That was always nice.

The presentation has definitely taken a step back from 12. The replays are too slow and from bad angles, and they just aren't smart. Most of the time they don't show how the play developed(key blocks, how the reciever got open,ect...). Also they are way too close. These would've been great had they been used how they are in real life, but once again, Tiburon wants to do their own thing.

Another thing is there are too many cutscenes where there should be real time stuff. The same players walking back to the huddle is tiring and unrealistic. Last year most of the post play stuff was real time, and cutscenes resembled an actual broadcast.

Also once again, I've harped on this since E3 videos. They removed almost all of the pre/post play camera work from Madden 12. This stuff was the best I've seen in a football game and now it's gone. Just baffling to me. They replaced it with stuff that looks very much like a video game and not a broadcast. Just don't understand it.

Commentary I really enjoy so far, lots of room for improvement, but this is some of the best stuff Madden has EVER had. Hope they take it even deeper next year and don't regress.

Half-time presentation is garbage. Just a bunch of cutscenes, smh. Didn't see one highlight. Atleast Madden 12 had some highlights. The analysis was ok, but didn't really go into depth. Post game was ok, still not enough highlights. Pre game commentary is nice for the most part, but again the camera work was almost all wrong and not as good as Madden 12.

Overall my initial impression is not that great for presentation. They said it was a focus but they took so many steps backward with the camera work and cutscenes(brought back one from Madden 06 WTF? lol). QB cadences is also a nice addition though I feel they could've added more. The hits while some sound good, some are just off. Don't sound realistic at all. Graphic stat overlays are pretty nice as well. I don't know what happened here because they said they were pulled from real games. Also the crowd sounds really good so far from what I've heard.

Oh my frickin' ears: commentary is turning off.

I'm three games into my CCM, and I cannot stand listening to Nantz and Simms. Now, mind you, they are one of my FAVORITE pairs on Sunday. Whenever Simms and Nantz call the Broncos, I love it.

But for Madden, I'm SO sick of hearing "whoa, the d-line is shifting!" and constant badgering by Simms about the QB being chicken or padding the stats. It's as if every play must be a first down.

Once again, commentary is going off.

I purchased the early release for NCAA and Madden and just put in a half earlier this morning.

I don't really like Ray Lewis all that much, but the long monologue they had him perform at the opening was very cool and very immersive.

I also really like the star players standing in front of the camera before you get to the game. That makes it feel like a TV broadcast, which is great.

The pre-game warmup scenes are better than last year, I think.

On the whole, I can tell they made an effort to upgrade presentation, and I think they succeeded. It's not light years ahead of last year's game, but it's a good bit better.
