This looks absolutely terrible. Previous gen graphics with horrible player motion. EA are so far behind 2k they should just call it a day.

They can start by utilizing the feedback of the guys that were there for Elite.

I was one of them and I don't need to be involved. But the guys that were there had great ideas, none of which were implemented in Elite.

Another thing that caused me to go out for the Elite event were the individuals invited did not have:

-A YouTube following or some other video blog heavy agenda
-A website where they were looking for exclusives
-Any sort of "inside" elbow-rubbing deal with anyone from EA
-Some connection to the media

You care about the game? Bring people out that want to focus on the game.

Hell, we were shown NBA Jam before most knew about it and I loved it more than Elite. Trey spoke at length and wanted our feedback.

The saddest part? Guys started playing Live '10 instead of Elite when we were there. I'venever seen that ever in a community event; Where guys play the old game instead of the new one...

The sad part is most of their ideas could have worked if they followed the input they were given. I told them it was unnatural to keep the dribbling hand when going to the sidelines. They were going for one-to-one control, but no one runs to the left sideline hard with the ball in their right hand.

Why does it take this video for people from EA to discuss anything?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by keeping the dribbling hand when going to the sidelines? I'm curious to know what kind of feedback you gave them for elite 11.

1. Okey Doke.

2. So...you're telling me....you didn't see the defense slide into position in front of the ball carrier and when the ball was being passed on the perimeter? Okey Doke.

3. Because it's not fun seeing the same net animation(s) all the time. It's probably a ME thing. It's one of the main reasons why I detested playing NBA 2k5. The net didn't swish, the ball just sorta wiggled in there all the time. Especially on dunks. The visual effect was god awful on some of those dunks in that game.

4. The ball doesn't even hit the floor half the time. The Ball. Doesn't. Hit. The. FLOOR.

5. Really? Really? Go back. Watch the video to the point where Lebron passes the ball to Shane Battier. Watch as the whole team unleashes thier inner Javale McGee.

6. Okey Doke. If you're truly not seeing what anyone else is (everyone in this thread really)... Hats off to you good sir. You truly don't think the game is bad. Now if you could just point me to the store where you bought those killer rose tinted glasses....

The video was bad no fight there , but I could make a long list on 2k that people over look because it animates well. AI, warping, sliding, fast break logic, rebounding,passing, and on and on, commentary adds little to live game action, it's good but more of a history lesson. Any way both should be held to the same standard. With that 2k13 looks to be really good this year but I'll wait for the demo.

The video was bad no fight there , but I could make a long list on 2k that people over look because it animates well. AI, warping, sliding, fast break logic, rebounding,passing, and on and on, commentary adds little to live game action, it's good but more of a history lesson. Any way both should be held to the same standard. With that 2k13 looks to be really good this year but I'll wait for the demo.

My dude people are in the 2K forums right now talking about buying this game that we don't even know is going to be on shelves or online because of a missing feature from 2K that isn't a core feature. If that ain't over the top, I don't know what to tell you. 2K doesn't get a pass for anything especially not more than Live. I'm not even trying to come at you right now cause I see you're new here, but you need to do some research and read up on things before you say anything about it. EA has been sticking it to people with this franchise and just basketball in general going on about eight or nine years now and you see the posts in here that are defending it. We just talked about in here the double standard that goes on cause 2K's feet are to the fire for EVERY single issue they have with their game. 2K catches hell for being the 'same old stale game' around here despite the fact it's the premier simulation basketball experience while people defend hot garbage like what's in this video in question. To paraphrase Jay-Z 'do not bark up that who get's a pass tree, cause that tree will fall on you.'

I lasted 5 minutes; couldn't take it after that. It really is a shame what's happened to this franchise. I'd rather play Live '95 on the Genesis.

heck they got hella backlash with announcing jay-z and the dream team was in the game with no pippen imagine if the new 2k vids for 2k13 looked/played liked it did on the dreamcast consoles.

Why would 2k get over the top hate when the game is actually good( great imo)?? Live 13 doesn't even belong in the same sentence as Live 10! The game took 12 steps backwards. Thats why people are bashing it.
Tell me, what is this game (Live 13) going to do better than Live 10??? I'll wait.

Stop, just stop. 2K is getting a pass? Really? 2K fans have called out 2K for EVERY problem you listed on OS and on 2Ks own site. Go read through the 2K glitch thread, the 2K wishlist thread and numerous other threads that detail the problems that 2K has had, then look at the the improvements and attempted fixes through the years to combat those problems.
