MADDEN 13 Connected Career Roster question

I just downloaded the season ticket and created a connected career online. Then have notice there's noway to really keep the rosters updated or change jersey numbers on players that need the correct number.

When your creating the CC online it gives you the option to pick what roster but all it gives is DEFAULT right now with no other option to pick another one. I have run online leagues the past 3 years and have always keep the rosters updated and corrected the jersey #'s. I just don't think there is a way to keep the rosters updated this year.

If you have came across anyway to update rosters offline and save file and use in in a online CC please let me know.

Well since you can't edit ANY aspect of players u can only count on EAs rosters.

Yeah but its stuff i already knew there was no editing for normal roster stuff but for online franchise the admin always had the option to change jersey numbers.

it was helpful in the old online franchise for owners to change jersey #s. particualry when subbing on defense. Youre just gonna have to wait before you start an online CC. Will there be 2 seperate roster updates (1 for CC 1 for online ranked games) like previous versions?

Hi Guys,

I've been somewhat preoccupied with other stuff the last 6 mo and really haven't kept up with the madden stuff. I don't do franchise but like season games, but with this game i'm forced to do CCM to play a season.

So my question is - if I want to just play 16 games + playoffs and not really deal with all the CCM stuff, can I just sim the offline stuff and play my game?

Also, say EA releases opening day rosters in the next few weeks. Then the day after the official rosters are released, I want to start up a CCM season. In my season, will the roster be the default August Release rosters or the Update Sept opening day rosters downloaded from EA?

This is the least of my problems. Has anyone else encountered the issue of severe changes (especially drops) in player ratings that are contrary to that of the rosters on the primary roster? For example, in "My Madden" and then "Manage Roster" it shows Chris Clemons as a 91. Other players are Maurice Jones-Drew (97) and Larry Fitzgerald (97). Then, in connected career, Clemons is a 79!! MJD an 88 and Fitz a 91! WTF?!?! PLEASE tell me I can fix this.

Apologies for the late response, but yes I do believe that if you want you can ignore the bells and whistles. Most actions such as resigning players and progression allow the user to delegate tasks.

But if I may, you would be missing out on a fun experience. Sure it may be fun to win a football game and the super bowl, but it is even more fun to win the SB with the team you have built.

Those ratings reflect them in your scheme.

It is not a bug; it has to do with schemes. To use Fitz as an example, his "base overall" is a 97. But say you have your WR scheme set to speed. Fitz is not a burner so he does not fit your scheme as well, hence his lower overall.
an example from my CC is Anquan Boldin. The Ravens originally have their WR preference set to possession and Boldin fits that nicely so his overall was an 89. But I prefer quick WRs so I changed the scheme to "route runner" WR. Boldin is not quick so his overall dropped to a 80.

Personally I love this feature. Go find a guy who does not fit his team's scheme but does fit yours. The difference allows you to land a possible elite player (90+ ovr) for the cost of a 80 ovr player.
