Terrel Owens waived in pre-season... CCM is pre-determined?

Now I don't know if its exactly true or not but I remember before release some said CCM was probably pre-determined. I'm just wondering if in anyone else's CCM he was waived in pre-season. On my game, 5 of my friends and a photo I saw online he was waived all in the same week.

yup waived 2 week of pre season in 3 separate CC runs

Pre determined... No. Using consistent logic.... yes. And look at real life he is about to get cut.

Seriously though. Run a test ccm with the seahawks and make him have monster games as you number 2 receiver then Sim each cut day. See if he still gets cut with having a team impact.

He was waived in my 2nd week also, and R.Moss was cut in week 3 of pre-season.

I made myself a QB for the seahawks and since braylons a butterfinger i only threw to him and he still got cut and the headlines were full of TO stories

Yuuup. Week2 on mine. Scooped him up too on the ravens. To be another mentor for my young receivers.

He was waived in my 2nd week also, and R.Moss was cut in week 3 of pre-season.

Wow I'm salivating now. I'm going to sign both Moss and T.O. just for storyline purposes.

Def not predetermined, while T.O. Did get cut in my world, Moss had three td's in week 2 preseason. He made the team and leads the 49ers in receptions and receiving yards going into week three. After week one he had an "article" about him passing Tim Brown on the all-time rec yrds list!

I think I read that CC is a branching story, so it can play out the same if the variables are the same but if players get hurt or over/under perform the the "story" will vary.

Every time in my when I start the league, Farrior and McNabb both get signed to the same time. (I'm in three CCM)

T.O does get released every time in mine, and i bring him to the Eagles for my slot after I trade Avant.

Of course it's predetermined, why do you think we can't edit in the mode? I'm not bashing the game, I think they are going in a great direction with the franchise, but I think the same few outcomes will always happen the first preseason and that is why you can't edit anything because it is already decided. That's why they could easily have left equipment and number edits in but wouldn't be able to explain why you couldn't edit the attributes. Maybe next year they will figure out how to do it.

I thought it was pre-determined when people kept talking about McNabb going to the Vikings and he did when I first started up the game. But I started over and he went to the Browns, so no, I don't think it's predetermined.

can somebody tell me if its a predetermined amount of years before moss and owens retire, how long did it take in your ccm

I am going to ask a question before I reply to the post, so here it goes, Was T.O. included in the Roster on the disc or did you need to download a roster update to get him?

If he was not on the original out of the box roster, then it can't be pre-determined, he wasn't signed uptil just before the Pre-season if I remember correctly, which would lead me to believe he didn't make it into the original out of the box Roster, or he'd of been in the Demo.

As far as predetermined outcomes go, Donovan McNabb has signed with the Browns in all four of my CCs (2 player offline, 1 coach offline, 1 coach online).
