This is nothing more than my opinion but I think the schemess are just a visual cue to guide you to the type of players that fit your specific style. Ie, you can change the name to whatever and it's only going to change those cues and guide you in the right player direction based off the overall ratings change system ea has designed. The new ratings for intangibles, size, etc are just part of the formula based off their new ratings attributes but don't actually effect the way the players play since the actual real attributes like awareness, pursuit, etc aren't changing.

In that, your scheme is largely nothing more than a guideline towards the type of ball you play and what players ea thinks fit that.
