The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Been happening to me over and over again. Corners, safeties, linebackers all doing the exact same thing as shown in the video. And these were straight up vanilla man cover 2 defensive calls for the most part with an occasional cover 1. They take that step forward and the receiver blows by as they try to recover. Wide open touchdown. Talk about frustrating.
I'm starting to think there is some old code in Madden 13, these problems are in the demo, and when I mentioned it, I was called all sorts of crazy and bashing. The demo had a problem with audibling into man coverage also but without replay you can't prove it. These things were issues in Madden 9 and 10.... along with
Once again we've been told things that aren't looking to be true. To prevent this problem in the demo you can't use man coverage from audibling, you have to use man under.
Is it really a bug or human horrible control of the corner?
It's a bug. I'm the OP. If you watch the video you will see that both CBs run commit and leave their WRs undefended. I see this 7-10 times per game. And there are lots of others posting in this thread who have experienced the same issue.
I just finished a game where Rivers had 4 TD passes of 50+ yards. All 4 bombs were from the CPU making my CBs do this. It basically feels like the CPU is cheating.

Does this happen against a team that isn't good on offense? (etc. Browns, Cardinals) because that can happen against EA's cool kids sometimes. I remember my bro playing against Peyton Manning, he got sacked basically but the ball flew 60 yards down field, lol. CPU cheating is a overlooked part.

It happens no matter what team you are or playing.
