Right, you should definitely know when you are going to unexpectedly trip, maybe GI's editor was on vacation this month.

You shouldn't know this, BUT, what you should expect is for the RB to also help balance himself by putting his hand on the OL's back so that he does not trip. Another game had that. That's my big disappointment with the IE. You can't just say we are gonna let guys trip if they run into the linemen as if RB's do not put their hands out on the lineman's back to keep their balance. That's why IE is an incomplete idea. And I hate to say next year, but they better have the RB balancing himself by putting his hand on the lineman's back instead of just falling. It looks so amateur.Comment

It is very noticeable when you play it as a matter of fact. I was playing my 3rd week game versus the Steelers and Mike Wallace caught a pass on a post and broke for the sidelines. I had subbed out Branch for Mitchell since Branch was fatigued. Mitchell took a bad angle on Wallace and laid out the defender chasing Wallace. It sucked because he scored a TD but its something you would never see on a previous Madden. It was a beautiful thing to see.Comment
