NBA 2K13: Console, PC the same?

Last year there were differences between the console version and the PC version. It wasn't anything huge, but things were left out of the PC version.

I was wondering with all the changes being made to this years game, how different will the two version be? Will it just be some presentation stuff again, or will there be more left out this year?

I love playing on the PC because of the mods, but if a lot is left out then I would rather just buy the console version.

Haven't seen this question asked (I may be the only one who cares).

We pretty much got screwed of all extra presentaion last year and i find that huge.
We will probably be screwed this year aswell, just look at the all star trailer in the end

*Add on content for xbox 360 and playstation 3 system only.

    Hopefully that inaccurate

For half the price, and a they make it with no intent to make any real money from it. All the other things we PC users can do outweigh any little modes or addons that 2k leaves out. For a game that has no security and probably has equal pirate downloads with actual buyers.

The only issue most people have is the way online is setup. Hopefully they gave this a look so players could enjoy there online.

Anything besides the 360 is treated poorly. But ultimately to answer OP queston, No it will not be.

I'm afraid that accurate. It won't be available for PC. I but you're getting a lot for a game that's basically a third of the price for consoles.

First and foremost, All Star Weekend has been part of the NBA for decades. As such, I consider it a slap in the face that 2K doesn't just ship 2K13 with it, instead of it being some stupid pre-order bonus. It comes across to me that they're using ASW as a gimmick to sell games. If they want to use a gimmick, use something you made up, not something that has been a standard part of the NBA season for years.

However, given what modders have been able to do with the players/arenas/so forth, I will gladly stick with the ASW-less PC version.

No all star weekend for PC and I'm pretty sure we won't have custom arena music either. The lighting is also lacking for the PC version but other than the ones I've mentioned its a decent port.

ASW is indeed another way for 2K to make more money off of this game. Its just dumb for them to use it as a add on you need to pre order to get. They should of made this something that was in the game when we buy it.

How are they making money from it when you get it for free if you pre order?

Because PC users who prefer to play the game on the PC will be forced to buy a console version for an extra 60 bucks in order to get the all star weekend dlc.

Lets not start another console, PC debate. The will always differ from one another. Stop expecting the console to do pc stuff. As far as all star weekend it's not that important to me.

I sure as hell hope that ASW will be HACKED into the game so we could stick our pen.ises to 2K for not giving us second dlc/add-on in a row. I mean, that Legend Showcase was in my game folder it just needed to be activated...

The fact that there will be no ASW on the PC version is irrelevant to me considering how huge the modding community for the 2K series has grown since 2K9. Someone was able to directly mod game physics- including net physics and sped-up animations and jumpshots. I'll be buying the console version when it comes out, but otherwise I'll try to grab the Amazon PC download version when it gets to be $9.99 again. By then, there will be plenty of mods available.

No custom music for PC kills it for me. It's so cool to have all custom songs for halftime and player of the game. It seems like it would be so easy to implement this on PC.

Agree with everything you said , but you are being to generous there , piracy in PC is totally out of control. Pc users should thank 2k for porting this game to the PC and sell it so cheap

Because you think there is no piracy on consols, yep surely less than PCs but still a lot...i'm happy to play nba 2k on PC and every year i'm scared to see a "only 360 / ps3" i have a 360 but for me the game is way better on PC with modding and amazing graph even if our online sucks and we don't have DLCs / preorderd bonus but i don't think 2ksport will stop making the game for PC because of piracy, i think it's more because 70%( maybe more ) of pc users play only game like COD, wow etc and not sport game
