Expecting the Tide to handle this one in the second half. Close early (17-14 Bama at half), but the second half is where the Tide really hit their stride.

Okay, my heart is of course saying one thing, but my head is saying the smart thing. This is how I look at it, if the D can keep Bama from scoring over 25 (which is possible, great Bama running game aside), they have a great chance. I'm just worried about the D-Line (especially Jibreel Black, who keeps getting moved back and forth). I already expect Fitz to not start, if not play at all, but if Denard can be a threat in the passing game, then I feel confident.

This might be the first game I have to be drunk for.

Not a Bama or Mich fan but always like a quality game. I think Mich has a tough hill to climb but if Denard can open up the O with some passing which makes his running that much more effective and the Mich D holds the line they have a chance.

With that said I say it's Alabame 27-17

Alabama is the two touchdown favorite here, but I really see a closer game. It's the beginning of the year for both teams and they are both really talented. I don't know how it's going to play out, but it's going to be a real treat.

Alabama will control both sides of the LOS from the kickoff to the final whistle, I honestly don't give Michigan much of a chance at all. Bama rolls 34-10
