Amazon pre-orders not shipped?

I pre-ordered this game over the weekend and was expecting to have it sometime today, however I checked my order and it still hasn't shipped. Anyone else having this problem? Amazon is usually great about having pre-orders to you on the day of release, which is what I was hoping for. They've taken the payment for the order but still no shipping.

I got an email on Sunday that it said it has been shipped and my bank account was docked for the purchase. Assuming I am going to get it later on today. Amazon does say its shipped also on my account.

I believe they can't charge your bank account until its shipped, so hopefully you'll get it today.

Depending on your location they could use a local/regional shipping vendor, which is what they do frequently here in Vegas where they use Ontrac.

Nice to get things delivered the same day you order them on occasion.

Not that this wouldn't have me refreshing the order status page every 15 minutes or something, I'd consider emailing/giving them a call too.

Mine shipped Saturday and even though they said I'd get it today, it actually arrived yesterday afternoon.

Not all pre-orders will arrive on release date unless you pay for release day arrival.

Some pre-orders will ship out today

I had free 2 day shipping.

I live in Nashville and I think they just opened up a center here, so maybe that's the reason.

You have to be careful to select release-day shipping. If you order anything else WITH the game you can't get release day shipping if you have them shipped together.

I almost made this mistake with Skyrim.

I ordered it solo, so I'm pretty sure I hit release day shipping. I've pre-ordered several games off of amazon, I always thought the pre-release shipping was the default option. Frustrating if I hit the wrong thing, lol.

In order to take advantage of the release date shipping (which is essentially just a two day shipping) the order must be placed before Friday since it takes two business days for item to get there. Otherwise, you'll receive it on a Thursday. I made this mistake with Sleeping Dogs.

i ordered mine on Saturday and it was ready and out for delivery last night. You have to pick release day shipping, I don't think it's free anymore unless specified on the front page.

That isn't true. I ordered 5 additional things with the game and still got my game this morning via UPS.
