LMAO at people actually thinking this years team was better than the 08 team. Wade in 08 > everybody from the 2012 team, 08 Bron > 12 Bron, 08 Kobe > 12 Kobe. Better big rotation, better perimeter defense, more veteren leadership ect. 1 reason why I kinda dislike talking actual basketball here is cause dudes on here completely forget how Wade has dominated this league over the last decade. Out of all players drafted out of the last 20 years, how many players can you say has had a better career (not even counting the fact that Wade has a lot of time left to pass the ones who would be higher). But you have

Shaq
Kobe
Lebron
Garnett


I maigt be missing a few, but out of the last 20 years these are the only players I could put above Wade career wise. How this man continues to get disrespected by the media is just confusing. And the worse part is that it rubs off on you dudes who watch ESPN and does not watch full games. Wake the hell up kids, Bron and Wade are on a level of their own, not even Kobe is at an ALL AROUND level lke them guys. They are the only 2 players who consistantly puts up Jordanlike all around numbers.

There will still be classic teams in 2K13. However, it's been confirmed that the 93 Suns teams will not be in the game.

Heh, if most of the Suns players from 2K12 are still on the disc, the 93 Suns will be. :wink:

Lebron was not better in 08 than he is now. He is a more complete player defensively and offensively now. He has added a post game and is comfortable with where he is in his career so he plays more freely instead of like he's stepping on glass.

This year's team wouldn't win because they can't match the size of the dream team. But then again this years team won by drilling 3's and there is no way i think Magic & Bird at their stage and even Pippen & Jordan can prevent Durant, Kobe, Melo, Lebron, Deron, Iggy, etc. from shooting lights out the way they did so they could stay in it that way. If they had Wade, Bosh & Dwight i'd go with the current NBA players hands down. A lot of those Dream Team players were no longer in the prime of their careers.

Excuse me Jordan, Pippen, Barkely, Robinson, Stockton, Malone, Ewing, Mullin, and Drexler sir were not pass their primes by far sir.
If you think that you could beat that team with 3's as your primary weapon you are sadly mistaken.
12' nor 08' could matchup with the overall roster of that Dream Team.
Howard could not defend Robinson or Ewing in the block. He easily would have fouled out trying to stop them. Bosh isn't physical enough to out rebound or defend Malone or Barkley. Kobe, Lebron, Iggy, Melo, or Durant. Could defend any of the names mentioned above.
Also Bird could still shoot and Magic at 6'9' is a problem for any other the guards that those teams had.
5 can only be on the court and the the dream teams before were nowhere as deep as 92'.
Imagine Robinson and Malone on the court at the same time or Ewing and Barkley.
The 92' team just had a lot of Versatility, Athleticism, Strength, better Defense by far, and Offensively.

the 92 team would win on smarts and off-ball play alone. hell, even if the 2012 team DID beat 'em with three pointers... pff - that's not basketball.

the potential of today's players are just as high as players from back in the day. BUT, due to today's game and rules, their full potential isn't brought out. if i'm wrong about that then i guess players were just better at fundamentals back then.

I just don't understand why this is such a problem for 2k? They've already been given licence for Barkley, KJ, Majerle, Ainge, Chambers and Ceballos - what's the deal in recreating the America West Arena and letting us have at the 93 Bulls with the Suns??! All we'd need would be Miller, Johnson, West & Dumas and we'd be good to go.

Same as the Pacers. We've already got Jalen Rose, Mark Jackson and Mullin. Throw in Reggie, the Davis boys, McKey, Smits & Best and we've got another wicked legends squad.

Anyhow - So stoked that Pip has signed. Just need full conformation of legends/classic team intergration and then i'm set to pre-order.

There's no way the 2012 team could even be within 20 points of the Dream Team. I saw someone say 3pt shooting for this team, but 1992 had just as many with the way the international game works. They have no answer for the post, plus Jordan, Drexler, Pippen, Barkley and Stockton could literally go small and run them out of the gym.
