    Using Custom Rosters in CCM?

I edited the standard rosters in Madden 13 to use in CCM offline mode, but the rosters used aren't the ones I've customized. Is there a way to use custom rosters in CCM offline mode? (Of course if we could edit players in CCM, it would be a natural workaround.

Glad I didn't take the time to edit rosters before starting a CC.

So we have to save 2 sets of offline rosters? Is there a way for offline users to get the updates?

      Thanks.

I LOVE all the additions that make the CCM so deep.... but the lack of plyer editing or the simple ability to start a CCM offline with custom rosters is really dumb and should have been considered by EA. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

But guys, remember that the first Ultimate Team mode was an update to a pre-existing version of madden. If they can do that, no reason why they can't patch these issues back into the game.

Is there anyway to at least change a player's position in Connected Careers? I took over a team that ran a 3-4 but I'm installing a 4-3 and I want to change the OLBs to DEs.

Nope. You can't even change the number on their back!

I have 3 guys with the same number in my CCM due to some trades I made and Free Agent signings... Its bull, dont understand why you can't edit your players in CCM... I mean EA take away the ability to edit ratings, not the ability to edit player equipment and jersey numbers... Come on, you must have known that the community would be pissed off because of this... I just hope to see it in the well awaited Sept. 11th patch, along with a lot of other cosmetic and gameplay fixes... Impressed by M13 but not impressed by some of the things that were totally over looked this year...

Is it even possible to use the downloaded EA Rosters into Offline CC?

I'd like an answer on this as well. Anybody?

Yes, you absolutely can but there are 2 different roster update files now, EA split them this year. The first one only works in offline "Quick Play" mode, it can't be used in CC at all. The other is the updated CC roster that will work in both online and offline CC, if you have this file on your drive when you start a CC it will prompt you and ask whether you want to use the updated CC rosters or the original ones on the DVD. I posted links to a rar file with both updates for 360 from 8/24 in the 8/24 thread. Once the next set comes out I'll probably start a new thread that I'll keep updated throughout the season as they come out.

nothing beats custom rosters...nothing..Good work though. Hope they put custom back in, I don't see how it would screw anything up. Just can see a way.

I downloaded the release day roster update and started an Offline CC. It didn't ask me which roster to use. It just stuck me with the one out of the box. I've tried and tried and can't get it to work. Chad Johnson is still showing up on the Dolphins and is still Ochocinco. I'm on PS3. Any ideas?

It sounds like you used the Quick Play roster update, not the CC one.
