That's not what 23 meant. He was referring to games people played, their roles in being heard, their attempt to help influence a series positively.

23 actually enjoyed Live 10. I still remember that. Like most of the level headed guys here, he will pick the best game. Publisher doesn't matter.

You CLEARLY didn't read his posts. The discussion between he and Pared had NOTHING to do specifically with the quality of Live or liking 2K. All they talked about was having an open line of communication to the devs and feeling as if they are being heard. And you come with this? Really? Did you just join to make an ignorant whine? Many of the guys on this thread are (at least former) Live fans. They want choice. They also want to not be ignored. That's it.

Let's just say there were some devs that didn't want any part of us being there and didn't consider taking ANY of the feedback we provided. Those who were there with me, know the couple I'm talking about, because I called them out.

Then there were those who were actually taking notes, giving us realistic answers and letting us know where they were headed. I talked with a few of them leading up until debacle that happened. A couple even made me aware of what was going on (the cancellation and ultimately the move to Tiburon) prior to it being made public.

It all starts at the top though, just unfortunate that EA is in this position. They have no one to blame, but themselves unfortunately. I want them to succeed. Not because I want them beat 2K or have a better game, just for the simple fact that competition is good and pushes everyone to strive for perfection.

I know many of us seem to be on the same page that this was not a pre aplha build but just a very poorly developed game that at times actually looks worse than elite(which is hard to believe). What I cannot understand is EA knew they had messed up teribiliy last time and pulled the game which is nearly unheard of .In that space of time the competition put out two games and continued to raise the bar,how was EA not taking notes on things to implement ,how did they not realise that Live 10 was universally seen as a good building block by us the fans,and how after years have gone past are we back waiting for information with only a month remaining to confirm that they will again cancel the game.
EA I really cannot understand how you have let it get to this point

I think its only worth a $20 arcade game download if that video is indeed not an alpha build.

Definitely disappointed. The games looks ok but plays horrible. I really didn't expect this, plays amateurishly. I wasn't expecting flawless game play, but this is another level of horrible.

I'll most likely still want to try it, if it comes out.

I dont know how you guys can have an open mind about this game or ever just have fun with it when it's clear you prefer the other game. I dont care for the other game but I'll try out the demo each year to see with an open mind.
What I don't do is go on their boards and demand videos, info and call peoples opinions garbage when I've never enjoyed the game in the first place.

And what makes you think others here aren't trying to do the same thing? We don't have anything to discuss except a leaked video. That's embarrassing. Basketball video game fans deserve more, just like football video games deserve competition.

Here's the thing - I don't know anyone from Tiburon well enough to write them off before any sort of interaction.

Maybe I'm just a sucker... but I am willing to work with anyone that wants to worked with. Again, we get a better game as a result.
