All this ebullience for a player whose career accomplishments and proudest moments would be non-existent had the League referees not forgotten to make carrying calls.


Nice to see Wilt is back--hopefully there is a 1961-62 iteration and Chamberlainesque finger role on command, or lay-up package. Of course Kemp is back, that is exciting as well and I hope 2K has allowed for some Kemp-specific dunked-on scenarios.

Not to split hairs, but Mourning barely played for the Nets. He didn't like his role with the squad real early on in the season and he was dealt to the Raptors (who then bought him out). The big man on those mid-00's Nets teams was actually Nenad Krstic, who did a bang up job quite honestly. I like creating those Nets each year, they were definitely one of my favorites.

I'm excited to have him and his '01 76ers squad on board. Now folks can experience what I have while using created '01 Sixers over the years. I'll be surprised if I don't see at least one thread popping up stating, "HOW DID THE '01 SIXERS MAKE THE NBA FINALS!?"

Regarding Chamberlain, you're right on the money with the need for a Wilt finger roll. That's be superb. Also, I'm hoping Kemp has access to early 90's uniforms.

Cannot debate with you on this, had carrying been called frequently, he likely would have adjusted his technique accordingly--he possessed far too much raw talent to be unable to do so.

Simple answer: I'm from Toronto and want a classic raptors team not a mid 2000 nets team.

I can see it now....2001 retro Raps team: VC, Antonio Davis, Oak, Alvin, JYD, Mo Pete, dell curry, Chris Childs, Keon Clark.

It would be grand!

The only thing i want is for us to change player age`s like we used to do in older 2k games. A younger looking Iverson would be nice but if i could just make him 20 and redo his career that would be awesome

I would take the 2000 raptors (with TMac) as a consolation prize.

The Vince/TMac Raptors are the more "sexier" team because of the potential star power. But the 2001 Raps were the far superior team.

No doubt about it brother. How's it been?

My fondest bball gaming moments were ID 2002-2004, seeing VC and the bunch out there. Keon Clark was my dude on videogames, he'd average 4-5 blocks per game. JYD with the continuous boards, Vince scoring at will, deferring to Mo Pete.

It makes me want to go download a 2001 mod for the PC so I can run w/ them.

But if they want to go 2000 w/ Mac/Vince I won't be too heartbroken either.

Regardless, being on the PC, I'll have them. I'd rather they come straight outta the box though, not having to wait months upon months. Plus, if I end up grabbing the game on one of the consoles as well, I want to run w/ them.

We'll see... only time will tell.
