Re: Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 Demo #2 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here
Unless it's different than PES 12, there isn't an option to import specific custom chant files into the game on Xbox. There are generic chants that you can activate by going to team edit and "support," and then specifying nationality.
The only workaround for custom chants is to put them on a mp3 player, plug it into the Xbox and play it on shuffle during the game. If you search around the web you can find people who have put tons of chants together for entire leagues in zip files. They even put in 1-2 minute silent clips so the chants cycle in and out realistically. I usually press play a couple of minutes in, and then press stop if it's a close game in the last 10 minutes. Works well for me.Comment

Re: Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 Demo #2 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here
This game is great. I had finally managed to give myself a little break from the first demo, only to be sucked right back into PES with this one. I'm so glad that they didn't change anything for the worse. I just fired up a couple of matches with Corinthians and Barcelona and the difference in skill between the teams was very apparent. I enjoyed using both squads, but Messi was amazing lol.
I love this time of year. I'm going to be very content as far as games go. I can already tell that I'm going to be playing Madden a lot online. Then PES comes out, which I was sold on from the first demo and offers a great single player experience. Then NBA 2K13 looks like they're pulling out all the stops this year. All 3 games will be in heavy rotation.
I'll try Fifa through season ticket, but I'm not sure how much time I could really invest in it. It's really going to have to impress for me to consider two soccer games. A lot of my friends will have it though, so I'm sure they'll be urging me to pick it up. We shall see.
Anyway, back to the demo for a little while before I head to bed.Last edited by Pappy Knuckles; 08-30-2012, 02:15 AM.Comment

This training thing in the demo is frustrating as hell.

After playing two games of this demo, I can definitely tell why people like it.
It was odd to me. The game seemed very organic, yet mechanical at the same time. I think it was the running that looked mechanical to me.
However, I really liked how the game flows. Much better than FIFA in that regard. I played as Bayern Munich against Barcelona, and Barca actually passed it around for a while, setting me up. Something they do not do in FIFA. They eventually scored on a great run and through ball to Sanchez. Just like they do in real life. Lulled me to sleep and then BAM, goal.
edit: oh, and I like how there is more than one or two fouls called in a game, lolLast edited by gopher_guy; 08-30-2012, 12:05 AM.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

To my knowledge, no. It's always easier to find an option file for PC and PS3. Even though I rarely touch my PS3, I bought PES 2012 for it so I can have the BLES option file with updated kits, licenses, teams, leagues, tournament, cups and even legends and crowd chants. If you have both consoles, always get the PS3 version when it comes to PES because of how easy it is to edit.

Yes. I've asked for years that this be done, and neither game has. Doesn't seem to me that it should be anything overly difficult, it's just not on their radar for some reason.
It can be, but pay attention to what needs to be done. One I was having a real issue with, and it turns out you need to score to complete it.Steam: BahnzoComment

I got a chance to sit down and play for an hour or so. Initial impression is that a good game last year has improved itself. It's still not a *great* game, but it's good(er).
AI seems improved, both for your own team and the CPU. I've really noticed that your own team makes much better runs and does it when it makes sense. The overall feel of the game is also improved. IMO FIFA has ruled this aspect since 98 (I think that is when they really stepped up), but I don't think that's the case any longer. The game really flows this time and doesn't feel as clunky as it has in the past.
I still need to play on some of the higher difficulty levels...the default seems a tad too easy. But just when I think that, I get burned. Lowering pass assistance might be the key, for me anyways.
Overall? Very good game. I prolly won't even consider FIFA unless they have something ground breaking this year, so if I buy any football game at all, it'll be PES again this year.Steam: BahnzoComment

Man, I'm gonna be so tired today. I've been playing with Bayern against Juventus F.C. and their defense is tough. I'm having a hard time breaking through for good opportunities against them. Frustrating, but fun.Comment

It's hard to say, I didn't play that much of the first one so I don't notice much of a difference. It's not so much they don't react it's just that it's not quite loud enough.

Really enjoying this demo. (Soldado reminds me of Adriano from a couple years ago as far as shot power)
This is the best PES on this generation, IMO.
I realize it won't happen, but I wish that the Copa Libertadores teams were able to be integrated with the rest of the teams, the standalone mode is kinda weak.Last edited by electrickeeper; 08-30-2012, 09:30 AM.Comment

As it should be
Juve's defense should be hard to break down
Just another reason I love this year's game
