    RB by committee in 13?

How is this done in Madden 13? Do the CPU teams like NO and KC split carries between the backs like you'd expect, or is RB1 in there until he gets tired?

Until he gets tired and that doesnt work entirely the way it should.

Yeah, it looks like the only way you get the cpu running backs to split carries is to play with the auto subs and fatigue sliders.

Does anybody know the exact numbers (auto-subs, fatigue) so that the CPU rotates the HB carries fairly frequently? It's probably impossible to make it situational, but at least, I don't want to see guys like Sproles or Stephen Howling get 30+ carries, 5-6 passes, on top of returning kicks.

Reason No. 56 in what's wrong with Madden. lol. If NBA 2K a few years ago could get it so that forwards like LeBron or Lamar Odom would bring up the basketball, EA should be able to successfully implement a running back by committee coding.

You should be able to gameplan or create your own packages. For example being able to set Darren Sproles on all pass plays because formation subs doesn't work 100% when you still have Pierre Thomas in the HB screen on Singleback.

It can get pretty ridiculous if a team has an aging power runner who thanks to high intangible rating still outranks the young speedster. Even in shotgun formations they always have the power runner in, they should really make the CPU use packages and stuff, having the Falcons run shotgun sweeps and draws with a worn-out Michael Turner who is down to 82 Speed at this point of his career is just sad.
You gotta have Hope! (My Minnesota Vikings franchise)

After an incredible 2012 season ends with a Super Bowl win, Hope Turner and her Vikings are trying to prove that their performance was more than just a one-shot.

I would think the easiest way to do it is to implement HB2 specific plays into teams playbooks for those teams that do RB by committee....

Doing it by fatigue and/or sub rate could potentially put your power back into plays that are better suited for a speed back, and vice-versa....

This is exactly what I use to do in the past when I was able to control all 32 teams.. I made sure all the 3rd down backs was in all the shotgun packages and I had a nice split going on with all the other teams that had RBs who split carries.. Sucks I couldn't do that this year..

It's not the same thing because Madden has it so Tebow is the long snapper which he is IRL so the 2 games are even in that aspect. IDK why people continue to compare basketball which has 10 people on the court at 1 time when football has 22 there is nothing comparable between the 2 other than the announcers in the games which 2k has repeatedly shamed Madden's.

Another reason why we need formation subs available in the menus, like in NCAA Football. I had a 3-back rotation with FSU in NCAA 11; one guy was my power, short-yardage guy, another was the speed guy who was in on 3- and 4-WR sets, and then my starting RB.

Took 2 min. to set up.

Yeah they definitely need to have formation subs available in the menus.. It was kind of a hassle jumping into every game on 12 and plugging the rotations of RBs into certain packages.. That would definitely make it alot easier whenever they let us control all teams again..

Agreed. I always plug my subs in starting with the second offensive play of the game and it's a hassle. I'd like to be able to plug them in from the main menu and have them permanently take effect.
