Pulling for Michigan in this one. I just don't like Saban (nothing personal Bama fans) he reminds me of a used car dealer or something... The whole ordeal with the Dolphins didnt help. Should be a great game though. To hear them tell on ESPN it is Robinson v. Alabama. That should motivate the rest of the guys on Michigan a bit.

It isn't that other teams don't prepare, but look at Tebow/Florida against 'Bama in 2009, 'Bama/Texas in the title game, or LSU/'Bama in the game last year. Every time Saban has had a chance to prepare for an offense they've really made them look bad. He is the smartest defensive coach in the country and his team's play very disciplined.

Throw in the fact that I don't expect Michigan is as good this year as last and I wasn't overly impressed with them last year. They won 11 games, but could just as easily have been 8-5 without some really lucky breaks. Can they beat 'Bama? Absolutely...it's a new year. Would it be a surprise? Absolutely.

Bama runs one of if not the most complicated 3-4 over/under defensive schemes in the nation, especially the coverages they run behind it.

I have no idea what to expect or what's going to happen in this game.

Still no power at my house and even if the power comes on the cable will probably still be off. Alabama plays around the same time as LSU, so I doubt that a sports bar around will have the Bama/Michigan game on. I'm likely going to miss this one.

Is it that bad ? Even sports bars around here will have at least one TV on with another game, especially a marquee game like Michigan and ALabama.

Yeah, but Jasper (even Birmingham) on game day isn't going to be the same as Tuscaloosa on game day. Plus you have to figure that there are still thousands here without power and those that do have power may not have ESPNU. Considering all of those factors, I can pretty much guarantee that every TV will be on the LSU game.

                      Toussaint more than Clark.

                      Both are morons.

Yep, Toussaint is worth at least a point or two on the spread, IMO. That's one less supporting cast member for Denard to rely on. Edit: on second thought, he may not be.. I'm probably just over thinking the whole situation.

Big time morons. D-1 athlete and you're not gonna find anyone to drive you home when you're drunk?

Hell, call a cab and I bet coach pays for it because he's happy with the decision you made.

They both hurt. I don't know if either one would make a difference in who wins the game. This thing is on shoulders of Denard and the Michigan defensive line interior.

Vincent Smith isn't a bad running back. And he's fast. Not sure how much he'll contribute. But he isn't a bad option.

Really don't think you attempt to even run one time up the middle with Vincent Smith. I would use him as the shotgun running back and use Thomas Rawls otherwise.
