But i will say this if you don't want to buy this game thats fine, if you want to just play the demo(if there is one) thats find, if you want to buy 2k13 and this that fine as well, if you just want to pay$20 fo this game that is fine also. But what i dont understand who give anybody the right to tell someone that they crazy for wasting their money on any freaking game, i'm like man did u give this person that money or you this person daddy or mother to tell them you should buy 2k or ea or batman(lol) no i don't think so(as far as i know). An based on rumor quotes it said " However, it’s a bit risky to not run it as the AAA title as thedecision has been made to NOT put the game on disc." now what i got from that very line that this product is going to be just like a regular on disc now rather it was really worth $60 or $20 is yet to be seen but don't judge something that you haven't even seen, or even heard anything from the very own horses mouth talkin about its own crap! Cause if you ask me this game still as not coming out, and dnt have a date, so as have right now we just have that game called 2k(which is not a bad game but its just that not everybody can play that game for very long time, just a fact!) so until this game even its any type of stores rather its dlc or on disc in walmart(gamestop) we all should just take a chill pill. Its funny how a game that really does not have that much info on it get so much attention,,imagine how much attention it would get if does comes out(good or bad attention). I go on for days about this but feel like this blog on this topic as gotten crazy..i ready everybody comments on here so i know it as..some of you have made some strong points and some of you need to just grow up and your hw before you start to type lmao!

You know, I think this game is going to be weak, but I'm guessing there are a lot of people who are going to fork over $20 for this game. And to think, EA won't have any manufacturing or distribution costs. EA is going to have the last laugh on this, regardless of how bad this game turns out to be. EA shareholders will be very happy, gamers not so much.

We're not on opposite ends of the spectrum. I'm simply saying stop begging EA to put out something then complain and run and when this is their something.

I agree, but the haters aren't the ones begging for this subpar product to be released in this condition, it's the loyalists who will play anything. And nobody forced EA to start showing off the game in the beginning of 2012 until they were ready. U can't pin that on us.

It's the same thing I've said on Madden for years - stop spending your time and effort on a title until they're ready to listen to the fans... but don't cry when the title is no longer profitable because people aren't buying it.

They keep making missteps... but when they're gone because you want to spend your time and energy clowning them.... don't reminisce about the good old days of competition

Madden is already doing better due to harsh but constructive feedback, which brings me to a political reality many choose to ignore: the haters, not the easily quelled party loyalists, are what push a game like Madden or Live to be a better product.

EA should know that if they want casual gamers who like the game of basketball or its culture to get their game, they need to first convince b-ball gamers that their product is good enough. The haters tell their more casual friends which game to buy.

Fanboys who love Live till the end will go down with the ship and not fight for a better product.

So if a new video comes out and its better than the old one is it then ok to purchase this game 23? The fact that a game is coming out should be good enough and satisfy the competition argument. No one is forcing you to buy it and when the game does come out you will actually have to purchase it or I dont want to hear one word about a review of it if you haven't played it.

If I can't find anything that I like on XBL or there isn't some DLC I want, I'll get it. If one of my friends gets it, I'll see if they'll license share it with me and keep my MS points.

Something isn't right here.

The only difference is, ESPN NFL 2k5 came out for $19.99 when a new retail games cost $49.99. Live 13 is coming out for 19.99 when a new retail games cost $59.99.

So this is actually a better deal than ESPN NFL 2k5. 2k you were getting for 40% of the original price and Live your getting for a third or 33% of the original price.

Can we really complain? Especially when you don't "have" to buy the game.

You're basing your entire opinion on footage that wasn't even meant to be shown.It's old and does not represent the final build of the game in any way, shape or form. Yet you're not going to buy a video game based on THAT? That's just crazy to me. Stupid really.

So you're saying that because "it wasn't meant to be shown", people should just disregard it and not make any comments on it until the footage that THEY release becomes available? If we were to do this, then "Sleeping Dogs" would be a disaster and wouldn't be nowhere as great a game as it is now, especially compared to what it was originally going to be.

Sure it may not represent the "final build" but the stuff that you do see will most likely be in the game in some form. Unless you believe(which I'm sure you probably do since EA does no wrong)that they'll completely start from scratch and what was seen in that footage won't be in the actual game at all.

At least wait until you see a recent build of the game before basing your entire purchase on it.

How recent do folks need to wait before forming an opinion on it? The day before it comes out? Not to mention, not everyone is going to give EA the benefit of the doubt(like you are) on this especially with how many people were disappointed with their last 2 Bball releases and some for good reason.
