Analysis:
- I made a few tweaks to the running game on both sides to get more of a challenge. According to the stats though it still needs some work on the CPU's end to make it a little more difficult for them to run. Stephen Jackson was all over the place but I guess it's not out of the realm of possibility. I would like to see more distribution by the CPU and they never subbed a back in once. It makes me wonder if stamina even works for the CPU (the slider that is...)
- The passing game was absolutely dead for both teams. With INT's at 15 for CPU (not 40 as you listed) I still managed to throw three picks. Some of the CPU's throws were just head scratchers. I'm debating upping QBA to maybe 65-75 but I'll wait and see. Maybe it will make them smarter and not just more accurate.
- The kicking game is still dead on with the CPU when I put the Kick Accuracy slider at 35. The rookie kicker hit a 51 yarder which makes the CPU 2/2 in both games. I might drop it to 30 and see if there are any misses. Speaking of kicking, you'll notice the lack of return yards by the CPU. It might be bug but anytime a ball is kicked within the endzone they always take a knee and never take it out. Kickers these days, with the spot of the ball moved up last year, easily can kick out the back of the endzone. So return yards should be low, but it's still boring. Maybe I'll try kickoff at 45 instead of 50.
- Penalties are again skewed towards the CPU for some very odd reason. Again they had over 10 penalties for over 100 yards. This is with my adjustments. The breakdown from the game was 7 holdings, 6 facemasks, 2 roughing the passers, and three false starts. I might leave holding as is since it's only 10 yards and drop facemask to 60 and see what happens. Still no clipping or other calls at 100. I make it point to do hard counts a lot, which led to two false starts (one for the CPU) but NO offside or encroachment which is annoying.
