I don´t agree with giving rating to players based on the numbers they get.

For example, before Lin exploded, he was unusable on the game. After linsanity, he gets faster, better dribbling, better pass, better awareness.... attributes that the player, in real life, had already before Linsanity.

Same thing with Lance Stephenson. The guy didn´t play last year and he is completely unusable in 2k12. Even though he is mad quick and has great dribbles... his ratings in those 2 attributes are very low.

Now that Bynum is going to get more shots, will he get better ratings in shooting, rebounding, etc..? It doesn´t make sense to me.
