I traded that and a forth round for the Chiefs first overall pick. I'm surprised they accepted. I may be wrong but isn't that way too easy? Would that even happen in the NFL?

Trading too easy?
I simulated a season with the Browns and surprisingly did well ending up with a 22nd overall draft pick.

Re: Trading too easy?
Yeah that is a little too easy really.
The older Maddens were even worse mind you. In franchise mode you could just keep trading picks all over the place and end up with the first 7+ picks in the draft no problem at all.
It was a massively cheap thing to do so I would try not to do it all the time but sometimes when it is that easy its just hard not to. At least I kept my cheesing to offline!Comment

Re: Trading too easy?
I think u just got lucky
I had to deal my pick 16+santonio holmes+ next years 2nd to get #2 overallComment

Re: Trading too easy?
what did the Redskins give up just to move from 6 to 2 at the previous draft? Santonio Holmes would go for arguably what, a 3rd/4th round pick? So it's essentially a 1st, a (delayed) 2nd and a 3rd or 4th to move up 14 spots to number 2. Not going to happen.Last edited by CSL; 09-02-2012, 11:22 AM.Yeah.Comment

Re: Trading too easy?
Lol @ "pro bowl receiver". I suppose if someone offered you 1st, 2nd and Donovan McNabb for the 2nd overall pick you'd take it...after all you're getting a pro bowl QB.
That trade would not happen in the NFL.Comment

Re: Trading too easy?
I strongly dislike when people say "That trade wouldn't happen in the NFL"
No one would've thought the Dolphins would trade Vontae Davis (only 24 years old) for a second rounder and a late round pick.
No one would've thought the Eagles would've gotten DRC from a young Cardinals DB core (With the exception of their safeties) for Kolb.Comment

Or how about Asante Samuel for a 7th?I strongly dislike when people say "That trade wouldn't happen in the NFL"

Re: Trading too easy?
so u honestly think any NFL team would trade the 1st overall pick for the 22nd+4th rounder?I strongly dislike when people say "That trade wouldn't happen in the NFL"
