Madden 13 freezing please help

I bought the game yesterday and every time I try to play connected careers the game freezes in the load screen. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

which system? and is it an offline ccm or online ccm that freezes?

I read another user on the xbox was having freezing issues also. he was able to start an online ccm and just limit it to one user controller team. if you have access to play online maybe this is a work around for you?

i got 360 played 3 full seasons so simmed games... and never had a skip or nothing. maybe if you have that new Xbox slim 4gb console. that one sucks and makes games skip more often

Xbox 360 and offline ccm

Try installing it to the hard drive if you have space. Mine is installed and I have had no issues thus far.

I tried doing that but it says the disk is scratched it did the same thing for NCAA football. But it is obviously not scratched because I just bought the game

I had just beat Houston in week 5 as the Jets, offline CCM. In my first 5 games I had Shonn Greene at 850 yards, 10 TD. As soon as I got back to CCM menu screen with News Stories... BAM. Frozen before I could save. I'm PISSED. I'm on the old xbox pro. Now I have to replay the last 4 games. UGH.

Also, the game IS installed to HDD and I have 40 GB free still.

Playing on the white xbox 360 I was having the problem of constant freezing. After a little online research I tried the following steps:
1. Cleared cache
2. Plugged the power brick into a wall outlet directly, not into a surge bar
3. When I started the game I stopped it from logging into the EA servers (I had previously downloaded all up to date content)

So far no freezing!!!

That sucks man. Like other people have said try clearing the xbox's cache.

Do not buy a new Xbox, this is a problem with the game. I'm having very bad freezing problems on PS3 where I can't even play CCM. Can't believe the main new mode for a game doesn't even work.

I have freezing issues.

in ccm when im scrolling positions in depth chart it will get stuck, not a real freeze, but I have to shut off system

then there is a legit all out freeze when I occasionally start an online ccm game vs cpu. it just doesnt go to the next screen and outright frozen.

I assume those are issues with ccm though.
