My 2nd preseason game in a row without any commentary? Whats the deal? Do I need to take this back to Gamestop?

Mines been fine...you playing as Coach or Player?
If I remember rightly in previous Maddens, superstar has had no commentary. So if your playing as a player that could be it? (I've not played as a player myself so have no idea if it's the same in this sense as previous maddens) -

In that case i'm not sure!
Is menu music playing correctly? If no sound at all check the cables
Check the settings make sure commentary volume is turned up
If not then yeah might need to take it back.
Only other thing I can think of is; have they made it so you only get commentary if your game is "televised"...all of my preseason and regular season games have had commentary so I cant imagine this is it but just a theory.Comment

Sorry, I don't have any advice for this. This seems to be a unique issue as I never experienced the problems you have with commentary.
I've heard of this issue for past Madden games, so I'll do a Google Search to see if anything comes up that may solve, or at the very least, explain the issue.-MattComment

Make sure you set you're matter volume up. That would negate turning commentary up.

Same issue here. The audio in this game stopped last night and I deleted all the game files and redownloaded everything and still not working. Not only does the commentary not work only the background sounds don't work as well. Like all you can hear is the music in the game menu but nothing else. In game all you can hear is the crowd but that is it. If anyone figures out a fix let me know please
. I have the PS3 version.

Check and make sure your audio settings for your console are set correctly. On my PS3, I had it set to 5.1 surround sound, and upon moving it to another TV I had forgotten to change the setting accordingly. One of the things left out upon doing this was the commentary. Hope this helps
