That would be cool if one guard/sf could effect an entire teams defensive strategy.

The closest thing to a non-big man defensive anchor is Scottie Pippen and LeBron.

It does as you normally lose confidence when getting swated , every person who played real basketball can tell you this

I'm pretty sure that a lot of the rules that apply to playground ballers don't apply to NBA players.

Avery Bradley did that or the Celtics last year , I hope he gets lockdown defender by the way, or I'm going to be disappointed

One glaring omission from the Signature Skills is an attribute pertaining to REBOUNDING. I wonder how they could forget about this, as it was one of the worst aspects of 2K12 in terms of imbalance and in terms of really feeling the value of excellent rebounders. Guys like Dennis Rodman and Kevin Love never really felt dominant on the glass in 2K12.

Why not have rebounding signature skills that cover offensive boards, defensive boards and boxing out? I'm kind of surprised that this was excluded, especially with the 6'5 glass-eating Barkley in the game this year.

              There is a Rebounding Skill.

              Scrapper

Example Players: Chuck Hayes, Reggie Evans, Tyler Hansbrough
A hustle guy known for his ability to dive for loose balls, win boxout battles and strip rebounds from opponents. A small attribute boost is given to Speed and Quickness during loose ball dives to display the effort these players usually give. During boxout battles and moves, a Scrapper will be given up to a 50% increase in the boxout win chance. For rebounds, a Scrapper has a 50% increase in the chance of poking the ball loose from an opponent who has already grabbed a rebound.

Really excited about these!! I love how they're all situational (something that can't necessarily be captured with ratings and tendencies) and that many have counters. Also love that it only changes the probability % in each situation, but doesn't put each player on the same level just cause they have the same sig, but instead it adds/subtracts from their individual ratings.

                Well done, 2k!

Adds so much more strategy and variation to gameplay and association. Really excited!

Just because you feel it, doesn't mean it's there.

I'm missing maybe a Pick and roll/pop big men skill for guys like Aldridge , and another skill for great pick and roll passers like Nash or Billups.

                    Agreed.

This will even be better than when Call Of Duty first added perks in COD 4. I am always open to adding new dynamics and strategies to my favorite series.

Great point, ratings should be the cake of these sig skills, and the sig skills actually being the icing. If Kobe has 95 mid range and Kemba has a 85 mid range even tho they have the same sig skill, the ratings should create the difference between the two along with the tendencies. On paper this sounds great, but we still have to play the game to see if it's as great as we think it is.

It's these mentions that REALLY caught my eye. Will there be actual boxing out from the AI? And will it happen realistically? As in, not at the friggin' 3pt line? And pocking the ball loose? Is this something different from regular steals?

                              Color me intrigued.
