This player raises his game in clutch moments. For the last 40% of a fourth quarter and all overtimes, a Closer receives the following perks:

1. Attribute boosts of up to 12 attribute points

I'm not a big fan of artificial attribute boosts.

If you get your shot smacked inside or out... Your confidence is gonna drop so i dont see how u feel it makes no sense to lose some shooting rating there. Anybody that knows ball knows shooting and confidence go hand in hand.

I doubt that will happen everytime. I think this is the issue going on right now, some of us are assuming the sig skills will mean that skill wil happen all the time or it will happen too many times.

You MAKE NO SENSE dude, If i got my shot blocked a ALOT I would not be as confident in taking the next one. NBA players are humans you know their physiologically affected just like anyone else. And also, if you hate the NEW way 2K is doing things you can always NOT purchase the game instead of posting garbage.

I think some of us are fearing that it end up being a bit like NBA Live with freestyle superstar. High flyer and power dunkers were impossible to stop. I remember Live 07 when they had various levels and one of the dunks was from like FT line and it was just so damn annoying. And with inside scorer if you took the hook shot that they have in their arsenal you could hit 3 pointers with players who shouldn't be hitting 3 pointers. The perimeter defenders could steal the ball with ease.

As long as 2k properly balances everything it should be a great addition.

It's these mentions that REALLY caught my eye. Will there be actual boxing out from the AI? And will it happen realistically? As in, not at the friggin' 3pt line? And pocking the ball loose? Is this something different from regular steals?

Color me intrigued.

This is talking about taking away rebs from players who go up to them.

That's the issue I think 2k needs to clarify things a bit for some of us, me personally I think it's going to be a percentage game, the shot penalty sounds interesting and I think that will help balance out some of these sigs like heat retainer and microwave, along with the defensive sigs. I like this concept just hope the ratings and tendencies are configured properly. So the game can play realistically. Every sig has a counter, so I don't see any balance issues with the sigs right now.

Not for NBA players. Their confidence isn't that easily rattled, and there's no proof that it's true.

I think LD and, or Beluba is going to need to come in here and talk some people off of the ledge about Sig. Skills. Folks are going to be so worried about getting done in by an SS that they will forget to have fun playing the game.

"Hey that was a nice 10 point win you had, you played well."

"Forget that, I got ankle broken and brickwalled to floor a total of 4 times in this game, that's BS, patch this now 2K!!!"

I'm guessing its 99% online players who are apprehensive.

I must admit these sound good. The sig skills will make it like a game within a game. The more you know your players and the skills they possess the better your team will play. It adds a level of strategy that was missing. This is icing on the cake if most of the gameplay issues are already addressed, which looks like the case. The brusier one is genius how it impacts stamina that is definitely needed.
