Feel free to use this if we are able to edit them. I am currently working on Signature Skills for every classic team that was in 2k12 as well as Dream Team and 2001 Sixers. I am using the same logic for everyone.

It'd be better off if they extend the limitation or 2KInsider gets his job done by a hard work but oh well.. let's just hope they at least let us tweak these for ourselves.

Among all the other signature skills, I feel like interceptor, pick pocket and post proficiency are considerable for MJ's arsenal. Of course the last one, post proficiency, suits for post-95 MJ.

I have added Post Proficiency to 1995-98 MJ and removed Floor General (I rather give that one to Pippen).

For INTERCEPTOR and PICK POCKETER, I feel that LOCKDOWN DEFENDER would cover both those skills with just one slot.

Hrmm. What would you give 2001 Allen Iverson Hyper?

Mine's looking like Shot Creator, Ankle Breaker, Microwave, Acrobat, and Interceptor.

I also have a feeling that Microwave has replaced the consistency rating. Either that or separated it into a shot by shot basis.

@hyperballer21 it's just too bad we can't have six skill slots so we can fit in closer as well for mj.

I would actually add post proficiency to 90-93 MJ as well but man...it seems like there's no empty slot left. sigh..

I suppose he COULD have post proficiency for 90-93 and remove floor general.

I'll probably will differentiate '91 from '93 like this:

1991 - Shot Creater, Acrobat, Finisher, Lock Down Defender, POSTERIZER
1993 - Shot Creater, Acrobat, Finisher, Lock Down Defender, POST PROFICIENCY

I also updated 1989 Jordan. I replaced Microwave with Heat Retention . I feel that Microwave should be used for those players who can come off the bench and heat up quickly (Jason Terry, Vinnie Johnson, etc). MJ did not need to get hot quick, since the offense soley ran through him. But once he got hot, it was for an extended period of time.

The 5 slot limit is killing me, lol. But we have to make the best of it.

For The Answer, the 4 he must have would look like this:
-Interceptor: Got most of his steals playing the passing lanes
-Shot Creator: Excellent in ISO situations
-Acrobat: Agile at getting his shot off over taller defenders
-Finisher: Got to the Free Throw line often by drawing contact

As for the 5th, its about preference on how you want to play:
-Ankle breaker: One of the best crossovers in the history of the league. Combine this with SHOT CREATOR and you will have some very lethal situations.
-Microwave: I know he can go off. BUT, he was the focal point of the offense. He played 42mpg. He shot the ball 25 times per game while shooting 42% from the field. Like my Jordan post earlier, he needed more than a few shots to get it going. I would go with HEAT RETENTION instead.

My comment about INTERCEPTOR for AI: He probably does not need to have it. This skill gives an attribute boost to steal and vertical. He will probably be in the 90's in both these categories, so you may be able to save the slot. Unless, there are extra animations associated with this skill, then keep it.

You can't have an Iverson without Ankle Breaker, it should be the first skill you choose lol.

While I agree with you, some users feel that ANKLE BREAKER is too "arcadey", so I left it optional. Personally, if I were to only give this skill to one player, it would be AI, lol.

yeah, a lot of people still haven't realized that ankle breaker is one of the weaker skills in the game once you do math for the percentages. It's quite the opposite of arcadey.

1985-86
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Pick Pocket: Great at playing pass lanes which often led to the next skill
- Highlight Reel: Spectacular dunks in the open court
- Posterizer: Dunked on people, A LOT

Honorable Mention:
- Microwave: Would go on scoring sprees, including 63 and 49 in the playoffs that year. But he had more 40+, 50+, and 60+ games during the late 80's.

1988-89
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability. Won DPOY the previous season.
- Microwave: Had ten 40+ games and five 50+ games.
- Posterizer: Dunked on people, A LOT. Removed highlight reel since he became less flashy. He should still pull out some highlight dunks due to his dunk package

Honorable Mention:
- Floor General: He played PG a lot that season, but really looked for his own numbers instead of making the team better.

1990-93, 1st three-peat
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability
- Finisher: Got tired of being bullied by the Pistons, so he bulked up in order to finish while being hit.
- Floor General: Directed traffic on offense along with Pip.

Honorable Mention:
- None

1995-98, 2nd three-peat
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability
- Finisher: Bulked up even more during this time. Got to the foul line often
- Floor General: Directed traffic on offense along with Pip.
- Dead Eye: Deadly midrange at the point.

Honorable Mention:
- None

Some may wonder why I would not (won't in my roster) give him DEAD EYES earlier in his career. I want to show the difference in his scoring styles. Primarily a driver when he was younger, and he shot more jumpers in his later days.
Perfect take on MJ, I wish we could add 6 SS sets, I would give him Dead Eye in some of his earlier years, because his jumper was always money, he just could do so many other things great and did not have to rely on it. MJ should be the only player to have more than 5 SS because he was the most complete player in basketball history, hence his 99 rating throughout his prime years, in 2K, the guy really had no flaws, unlike Lebron who has all the natural physical skill set gifts to eclipse MJ, but lacks the most important two of all, the MENTAL IQ and DRIVE to win at all cost. This is what separate him from every other NBA basketball player to come into the league. (Yes even Kobe)

I would also give him the PostProf SS skill, he was deadly in his later years skill in the post fadeaway, MJ deserves at least 8 SS slots, he was so complete. I feel like if we only can give him 5 SS we are doing him an injustice.

I think there are quite a few classic Bulls team, from Michael Jordan in sophomore season, early 90s and mid 90s. I hope 2k Sports would have different signature skills for him. Having signature might be one way for young gamers to get to know what the legend players' game really is... I wish 2K sports would have Rick Barry... he was just good (but not as a person as he was too cocky and still is. Like Kareem, his personality is the reason he could not land a NBA coaching job.

anyone notice that when you put classics team in association mode (customize league), many players with incorrect DOB, resulting many of them with incorrect age like 50 age old?! in 2K12. I hope 2k Sports would make correction to that.
