We havent played the game yet but in 2 games that came out previously(live 07 and a pf) some the traits became exploits. Hey i dont think it will break the game but im been wrong before. Better to have that attitude and be pleasantly surprise when it works besides being disappointed when it does become an exploit.

So you'd rather assume the worst, instead of being optimistic. OK, you're the "glass is half empty" kind of person. Nothing wrong with that.We havent played the game yet but in 2 games that came out previously(live 07 and a pf) some the traits became exploits. Re: NBA 2K13 - All 31 Signature Skills Revealed
Let's think about this more critically for a second. Who do we usually consider a cheeser and an exploiter? Someone who does the same thing over and over again because it's effective, right? And that action is usually something that can be duplicated over and over again, right?
Well, when considering the Signature Skills, guess what needs to happen first? The person must actually be skilled to know how to execute them and have the wherewithal to recognize the situation. Many of the Signature Skills rely on particular situations to take place before that skill can be activated. That means having the basketball IQ and presence of mind to recognize when such a scenario is occurring. If we already consider cheesers the lowest common denominator in terms of basketball IQ, why are we giving them the benefit of the doubt that they will be intelligent enough (from a basketball perspective) to know how to exploit a Sig Skill if they can't recognize the situation?
You'll have cheesers trying to do chase down blocks in the half court and getting fouls for being overly aggressive because they are trying to do one of Lebron's moves at the improper time. You'll have cheesers trying to ankle break all day not realizing that you're guarding them with a pick pocketer or lockdown defender. They'll try to do an outlet pass with a Fast Break Starter, but you already anticipated that and had your men get back on defense in time. I don't know about the rest of you, but for the first time since like 2K8, I feel that superior basketball IQ will win against even the best teams online. Of course, that remains to be seen until the game drops.According to my old marketing professor, satisfaction is when product performance meets or exceeds consumer expectation.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 - All 31 Signature Skills Revealed
People will find exploits in everything. I still believe the sig skills will give the sim heads a competitive advantage. Because we know basketball and we know how to use our sig skills. I'm not going to say a cheeser can't win from time to time, because honestly there are games when your jumpshots just aren't falling and they get a lot of fouls. But that's sports the bobcats can get a win every now and then, even though the opposing team is better.Last edited by jersez; 09-03-2012, 04:47 PM.ARE YOU LOOKING FOR YOUTUBE CHANNELS DEDICATED TO THE SIM COMMUNITY CLICK THE LINKS BELOW, AND SUBSCRIBE FOR ALL SIM CONTENT.

I don't know. If they rate a player 60, isn't it disrespectful too? Because we all know, all NBA players are 90+.
But really, you may be right, but it's really too bad if that's what's going on. And 2K can use a little less harsh names for this sig skills. My Specs:

Re: NBA 2K13 - All 31 Signature Skills Revealed
Agreed.
I wish players would be inconsistent as well, not every player is focused 24/7. I remember the clippers playing the knicks at 12:00 and most of them looked bored as hell even being there. The game wasn't exciting at all, so having to play at a certain time or a special kind of game should get you hyped up (christmas game).Comment
