You added "of" on your own. Beginning "of" September makes it sound like it could be any time within the first week or two of the month. The official press release said "The first uniforms will be available in the store beginning next month(September)" which means they should have been available as soon as your calendar said it was September. Right now they are 3 days past what they promised and counting.

"beginning next month" does not mean on the 1st of the month. If they don't add a uniform until September 30th, then they uniforms were still "available in the store beginning next month".

FYI there was a followup tweet by an EA dev that mentioned early in the month. So I expect them next week personally, though I'm hoping this week sometime.

Honestly, they dropped the ball, everything that was announced should have been released prior to kick off.

Everything now should be out prior to kick off of the start of Week 2.

EA is really doing a poor job of keeping the attention of their players, I haven't even started my dynasty because of the no new uniforms as lame as that sounds.

I hate to say this, but I believe a lot of you are going to be really, really disappointed about this uniform store. I have a feeling they'll want you to pay for stuff you think should be free.

In preparation for this, I think some of you better start lowering your expectations because I'm sure a lot of you guys think you'll get quite a bit for free, which I highly doubt happens.

In fact, EA said in their release:

If it's an update to a team's default uniform, you will get those uniforms at no additional charge, via download in the store if and when available.

So, I'm going to assume that it's only the default home/away uniforms that will be free. Anything else will be pay-only.

For example: KU and Penn State unis should be free, as they added names to the back of their default jersey's. On the other hand, any new Oregon unis will cost money (do they even have a default?), as will the ND unis a poster mentioned earlier. But, EA might not even fix a lot of changes in default uniforms. They left that door open in the last part of the quoted area above.

I'm sorry, but the way Ben H described the process, he pretty much said teams like UW/RU/MIZZ were already done and complete, they were still getting feedback on other teams.

How about you release those?

It's not DLC that has to be uploaded to the Xbox Marketplace / Playstation Store that can only be on a certain date. With the store built in EA can add whatever they want whenever they want.

Also Benny boy said that in August they (EA) would release a list of teams that will have their uniforms updated and available in the store when it was set to open for good. That never happened. I take everything EA says with a grain of salt.

You are wrong on the oregon uniforms costing money because they are new uniforms and will definetly be worn mutiple times but with different combinations. They will also add uniforms that should have of been in there from the start such as TCU's uniforms because all of the uniforms in the game now are from 2010. Ben also said that they will have any default alternates such as the black uniform for TCU. I am sure they won't dissapoint us on this.

Its the uniform STORE. You know what you do when you go to the store? Buy something. Now i believe EA will throw some schools a bone, the obvious needs, and that is all.

I agree, and i think it's sad that people will actually have to pay for uniforms in a football game. I guess our 60 dollars wasn't enough to cover the cost of digital alternate uniforms. It's really ridiculous when you think about it.

In my opinion, Oregon's uniforms should be free, their uniforms aren't one time things, they may not wear a set twice, but they'll use a piece of the set with another uniform, so they had the yellow helmet, green jersey and yellow pants on Saturday, so one time they might use the yellow helmet, yellow jersey, and yellow pants, or etc.

I agree, and i think it's sad that people will actually have to pay for uniforms in a football game. I guess our 60 dollars wasn't enough to cover the cost of digital alternate uniforms. It's really ridiculous when you think about it.

Its not sad. Its in addition. In addition to the game, you have the option to purchase this if youd like. You have the option to purchase that if youd like.

I have a spray in bed liner in my truck, i purchased in addition to buying the truck, because id like.

I know this may sound weird, but there was a time when these "additions" where included in games retail price.

I'm sorry I brought up the Oregon uniforms as an example. I don't know all the details about Oregon and their deal with Nike to have mentioned them in the first place. Poor example on my part. I should have instead mentioned the powder blue KU uniforms they wore once last season.

PLEASE NOBODY THINK WHAT I SAID ABOUT OREGON AND THEIR UNIFORMS IS FACT AND PLEASE DON'T QUOTE ME ON IT.

I know this may sound weird, but there was a time when these "additions" where included in games retail price.

There was also a time when if a jersey was wrong, it was wrong and you had to wait until the next season to possibly see a correction.
There was a time when each team only had 2 jerseys to pick from, and you couldn't pick them anyway because the game automatically gave you the away uniform for an away game and a home uniform for a home game.
There was a time when if a game had a bug, it had a bug forever.
There was a time when the NCAA series had less than 10 total bowls.
There was a time when the NCAA series had an option to choose between a bowl or a playoff to end the season.

The "there was a time when...." argument doesn't fly anymore. Sports video gaming has changed and so has the landscape in terms of how to make money outside of selling a game in a box.

Sorry, but accurate uniforms should be the norm in a game with a college football license. The amount shouldn't matter. You act like they have to sew them by hand or something.
