    Turning Pro Early problem...

I noticed the guys who turn pro early, never go in round one or two. Most are 6th or 7th round picks. EVEN if they just won to the Heisman or was named to All American team. Please fix this!!!!!!!!!! ALOT of underclassmen forgo one or two years and end up in the first or second round!!!!!!!!!!

What's crazy is that there are around 50 first round picks.
      Chicago Bears
      Oregon State Beavers
      Portland Trail Blazers
      San Francisco Giants
      Chicago Blackhawks
      MLS: Portland Timbers
      EPL: Liverpool FC

It's only based on OVR rating and ht/wt. It's a feature in it's infant stages. Look at the top QB's, the game will take approx 8-10 and have them go pro as long as they are taller than 5'11 I believe?

If they are projected only 6th or 7th round, you can easily talk them into staying with only the "won't regret getting degree" option, so you get to keep highly rated guys and don't have to worry about breaking promises.

And they come back, still get drafted and possibly at a higher spot, helping your "pro potential"

          Win-win

they only put this in because you can' export to madden but there logic is twisted. I have junior players win awards all the time rated in the high 80's low 90's and they Never show up on the players leaving where as other juniors who barely play or have marginal success with late round grades dip out.

Yea getting them to stay isn't the problem. If you consistently get 25 recruits a year... cutting players becomes a problem. You want guys to turn pro early, but you want them drafted in the first few rounds.

Uhh they are not 50 projected 1st rounders. I have counted before they patched dt's getting projected. Before defensive tackles were fixed the usual 1st rd projections were 26 players sometimes 28. With Defensive Tackles about 28-29 never 32.

not so in my dynasty. Last season there were around 50 first rounders and 40 second rounders.

The dumbest thing I've ever seen for the leaving early thing happened after my 1st season with Notre Dame. I have a Sophomore TE name Ben Koyack, who is very good, rated around 83 or something. I redshirted him for his soph year because I have Tyler Eifert, who is the best TE in the game and a RS Junior. Eifert put up over 1000 yards and 14 TD's or something in winning TE of the year. He's a 97 OVR. So obviously Eifert is going pro right? Nope, doesn't even consider leaving. Meanwhile, my true sophomore TE who was redshirted, and obviously had no stats and is an 83 OVR, wants to leave early. Sophomores can't even leave early, yet he tried to, and was projected in the 5th round. Luckily I talked him back, just so many reasons that was ridiculous.

I wonder if the pro potential rating has anything to do with players leaving early. For instance if a prospect has very high or most as their interest for pro potential will they be more likely to leave early or get drafted higher. I'm sure someone else has stated this, but stats have little to no effect on how high a player is drafted. I think measurables(height/weight) are More important. For instance playing as USC both the starter and back up QBs have a rating of 99. I am pretty sure they are both projected to go in the first round. It's really not A big deal. However, if you recruit players, anticipating some players might leave early for the draft. If those players don't leave early, you might be stuck with cutting a few players because of that.

Any player with 3 years under his belt can opt for the league. So by Redshirting him that made him a (Redshirt) Sophomore on the field but in terms of school he would be a JR. in the class room, allowing him to leave early.
