Reason for the Vikes poor rush was no AP and a weak O-Line. The Vikes defence played well throughout, actually playing smart and adjusting to me. The match was only 8 minute quarters however the game played a lot better then previous editions I had played.
The Vikes on offense were actually fairly decent despite the sacks, Ponder was attacking on the short routes too much though, and he got sacked a lot when it got to the end of the game and he was in the pocket for about a minute.
The field goals however for Rob Bironas should have been higher, I have adjusted the Kick Power by +3 and equally minused accuracy, this means Bironas will not uncharacteristically miss a 45 yard attempt due to lack of power (when power bar was full).
I played as the Titans(obviously with my name
) and Johnson was pretty well contained, using gameflow and not picking my plays made a world of difference, If I used my traditional box style and made the picks myself, score would have been higher guaranteed as I would not have called the same running play or passing option 4 or 5 times when times is limited.
I have also made adjustments to the CPU rush protect by plus 5 as they struggle to run. Will also test out with pass block increases as 8 sacks is still a bit too high for my liking (when it happens consistently).
Overall good slider set, I enjoyed this game, I havent really enjoyed a game of madden for a while as it has always been so stagnant and predictable. This slider set with my adjustments suit my playstyle well, thanks for all the effort Chaotic04 and the side help of SECelite.
Whilst Ponders numbers are so low, I attribute this to the 8 minutes with a 20 sec run off. Will remove the run off to allow more time. Post back the result of that too.
ps, I buggered up my sack numbers I only just realised I did tackle and total tackle...oops.
