Re: Official "Rate My Team" Thread

Here's my 2nd team of the year. This was a snake draft, 12 team keeper league, standard scoring. Each team keeps 3 players. I had the 4th pick

    QB- Aaron Rodgers (keeper)
    WR- Percy Harvin
    WR- Marques Colston
    RB- Trent Richardson
    RB- Cedric Benson
    TE- Rob Gronkowski
    Flex- David Wilson
    D/ST- Houston
    K- Justin Medlock
    BE- Kenny Britt
    BE- Ben Tate
    BE- Kendall Wright
    BE- Russell Wilson
    BE- Alshon Jeffrey
    BE- Jonathan Dwyer

With 3 keepers for each team, there weren't many of the top players available. If I had the 3rd pick, I would've gotten Forte, but with the 4th I took Trent, who was the top RB available. I feel pretty good about my starters. I'm going to move David Wilson out of the flex for Alshon or Ben Tate in the first week, then Britt when his suspension is done.
My favorite teams are better than your favorite teams

Might as well see what people think.

12 team league, PPR, seven points for all TDs (receiving are six, plus the point for the reception).

Start QB, HB, WR, TE, and three (HB, WR, TE) flex. Had the ninth pick in the draft.

        QB: Cam Newton/ Russell Wilson
HB: Darren McFadden/ Trent Richardson/ frank Gore/ Toby Gerhart
WR: Brandon Marshall/ Reggie Wayne/ Robert Meachem/ Jacoby Ford
        TE: Jason Witten/ Brent Celek
        K: Sebastian Janikowski
        Def: Pittsburgh/ Oakland

10 team ESPN league, snake draft, pretty standard scoring, no PPR. Flex position is WR/RB/TE. I had 10th pick, round drafted in parentheses.

          Starters
          QB- Eli Manning (3)
          RB- M. Lynch (1)
          RB- MJD (2)
          WR- V Jackson (5)
          WR- M Austin (8)
          TE- V Davis (4)
          Flex- Demaryius Thomas (6)
          D/ST- Bears (7)
          K- M Crosby (13)

          Bench
          RB- R Helu (9)
          WR- K Britt (10)
          QB- A Dalton (11)
          WR- L Moore (12)
          RB- E Royster (14)
          RB- R Mendenhall (15)
          WR- M Manningham (16)

I'm not too enamored with my backup RBs and I know that either Helu or Royster is getting dropped once the WAS backfield situation is sorted out (if ever lol). But I do like the rest of my team.

I like that team for 2013. Probably closer to middle of the pack for this year.

I'd drop A. Smith and pick up another back. Sounds like a 10 team league so I'd see if there's a better option out there than Manningham also.

Solid team. You'll probably need some adjustments throughout the year to get it to championship level but a good foundation. If you don't have an IR spot for Ford I would look for someone better there.

I agree with you, and that's problematic bc you don't know when MJD will start being MJD... and trust, that Redskins backfield will never be figured out. It's going to take injuries to know for sure who's going to be the most valuable from week to week. As your team is now you're going to need to start one of them (probably Royster) this week... so I'd want another RB on the bench that's a bit more reliable if possible. I think I'd drop Manningham for one if there's one out there. You've got plenty of WRs. He's not seeing the light of day on your starting lineup.

I picked up Alfred Morris a little while ago with your advice wwharton. Do you think he is still worth a roster spot?

Yeah you could drop Baldwin for one of them. I'm still very high on Wilson but he fumbled his way into the dog house. If you want to roll the dice you can pick up Jennings and see if he ends up having value for a while if MJD comes along slowly. People probably aren't rushing to get Wilson right now. But over the season I think Wilson will be more valuable.

I do but it depends on what the other options are available. Morris is going to play. It's hard to say how much or even when with this team. When I was pushing him hard he was looking like the starter and all of his comp was dinged up. If there is a similar player in a clearer situation, I'd say he's safe to drop.

Here are the FA running backs.

I also got RG3 back for my backup, the guy I traded him to dropped him for Luck :/
