CP3 rating a lil too high, maybe 93-92 would be better.

because in that order, thats the top 3 point guards in the NBA
Deron will be a 91 more than likely......Rose is the best by the way.

What exactly makes Rose better than Deron?

If we're going to act like overall ratings matter at least put a good argument behind it....

Regarding all these comment's about Paul's rating being too high, I guess turning a lottery team into a top 5 team in the West (one game away tying with 3rd) and returning to the level he was at before knee surgery = must have same rating (or lower) than last year.

            Makes perfect sense.

I HIGHLY doubt any rookie has shot creator.. Since none have them have proven the ability to be able to create a shot at this level of play..
And Davis shouldn't even have that until he proves he is an elite shot blocker in the NBA. He can just get a high block rating but if he produces at a high rate then maybe you can give it to him down the road. But from the jump? Nah.

And to dude that said Austin Rivers' elite ball handling is a trait that translates over. How can you say he is an elite ballhandler already? You do understand the word Elite is relative? So again, he has to come in and put folks in the mix and get to the basket at a high rate. Until then, he should just have a high ball handling rating.

I love Chris Paul, but you can't have him 2 points higher than Derrick Rose. I realize the man is injured, and if that factors into his 92 overall, so be it, but CP3 just had a really bad knee injury as well a couple of years ago. When healthy, Rose is a top 5 player in my opinion, and he absolutely killed Paul head to head last season, and the season before really. I'll give Chris a pass there for the injury.

Has anyone seen Kyrie's rating? My gut says 86-88 range.

I am sure Derrick Rose is a better scorer, but all around Point Guard ability ... Chris Paul is the best in the league. Rose is a top 3 PG (Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Derrick Rose). In my opinion, D-Will and Derrick Rose should be neck and neck in OVR.

Well using your logic every rookie should be a 25. Certain skills transfer to the NBA level almost seamlessly like rebounding, passing and ball handling. Others like 3 point shooting don't and ratings should reflect that

Good point, I agree with you there.. But HE didn't exactly turn them around alone.. They added lots of pieces and some pieces they had improved their game.. But I still agree with what you said

I hate people that only look at stats and don't use common sense

Keep in mind defense weighs heavily on the rating too. Rivers will score just fine in 2k13, but he's going to have trouble guarding anyone next season.

Terrence Ross was tearing him up in their predraft workouts. He better have a higher rating than Rivers!

Who am I kidding though, the Raptors get slaughtered every year by the "2k insider".

Knicks are my favorite team, and Stat is one of my favorite players, but I have him rated around an 80 overall. His vertical and dunk ratings have gone down, as well as his midrange. However, Stat should have some improved post-moves after working with Hakeem in the offseason.
