Changing Foul Out Count and Traveling Violation
In 2k11 I could change my foul out count to a number lower than 6 because i like playing in shorter quarters. In 2k12 I couldn't, I find that a silly thing to remove. I hope they put it back up in 2k13. Also i wish there were legit traveling calls ,unlike the weird ones being called in 2k12 occurring only on excessive pump faking, on players like Joel Anthony catching the ball and going for a drive or driving after a crossover in HOF. Again.. very silly.Tags: None -
Re: Changing Foul Out Count and Traveling Violation
That's something i want for my Online Association. As we play the games 10mn quarters, i would like to have foul out set to 5 for instance.Comment

Re: Changing Foul Out Count and Traveling Violation
I thought of the idea of having the game randomly call traveling violations and each player would have a higher tendency to be called for it. Some ppl wouldn't like it so there'd be the option to turn it off...but irl, you never know when it will be called so why not put some type of code in the game where it would call traveling at random times, with certain things to have to be happening to trigger itt for there to even be a chance to call it.
For example, on a fastbreak it wouldn't call it. But there's a chance it calls it when a big man is in the post, or a wing player catches the ball and drives quickly...Idk, just a thought I had last year. Would be frustrating to get called for it with no "real" control, but it would make it realistic and at least it would be in the game. As it is now, it's never called. And like I said, you could turn it off...there could even be a slider for the frequency it is called so we can set it so we get a realistic amount called per game to mirror real life.Comment

Re: Changing Foul Out Count and Traveling Violation
I knew the ability to adjust Foul-out Count was in previous iterations in the game. I was trying an experiment a few weeks ago, but couldn't change the setting in the game.
Would like to see this reinstated.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***

Re: Changing Foul Out Count and Traveling Violation
It would be cool if you could be called for travelling but I'd like a system where you get called for it if you strings too many movements moves together in a row like when randomly just trying to iso someone or do spin moves. What we know so far about NBA 2K14 - FAQ/QA:

I know but as an example it wasn't necessary to remove flex scheduling or in this case changing the foul out count. Now it's back in 2K13 and I know I was wrong in saying they hyped it up but I just don't see why little features like this are removed in the first place.

Re: Changing Foul Out Count and Traveling Violation
I've actually been called for both travelling and double dribble numerous times...
It tends to occur more frequently by the basket if you're trying to string a bunch of moves together...and often up and unders.Comment
