I gave them a try in my BAP season. Played really well, was fun even if I was affraid the low passing would make the game tough since I'm in the OHL. It was almost perfect, the play was sloppy as CHL games are and the passing was better than I expected.

I won the game 3-1, shots we're 32-23 in my favor, faceoffs we're too easy so I'll bump it a notch next game. Penalties we're even, they all happened when I was simming to my next shift.

Ended the game with 2 passes, only to see the game freeze at the end. Pretty nice sliders for me to begin with. :-)

i tried it in "play now" and i like it so far. won 2 of 4 games with an average of 3 pps. at one time there was 5 in 1 game. i dont know if this will also translate well in BaGM. but thanks savoei . im off tomorrow so i'll try to do more games on ur sliders.

Be sure to check back here, I may have some changes. I'm messing with the penalty sliders right now trying to find the best combination.

FBeaule04...I'm not all that great at Faceoffs. I tried Passing at 3 originally so that more pucks would bounce off sticks and while that happened, the passes were lasers.

Savoie, are you testing the penalty sliders at zero? I have a feeling that slider is broken/reversed.

Yeah, I tried the Cpu/Cpu Teammate Penalty sliders at zero and it didn't seem to make much of a difference one way or the other. I'm thinking the game is simply coded for around six penalties a game. I've tried several diffferent settings and that seems about the norm. I honestly wonder what they would be if I played a 20 minute game.

I have to say I'm not that good in Faceoffs, I only do one thing, it's backhand move! :-) I'm winning around 85% of my FO so far, so bumping the difficulty up will help. I'll just have to see if there's any difference in team winning FO%. So far, I'm around 55% to 65% in games so that means while I'm winning mine, other C on the team (simming wise) aren't winning that much.

i really love the skating and you can see the fast players passing by the slower players even at 2 for game speed and accel.

the only issue i have is the AI brain...i thought that the AI is improved both in offense and defense, particularly CPU in CPU vs me, but i still notice that AI still dump the puck without battling their way in specially those with skill level. i can still skate with ease passing into their zone and im not "forced" to dump the puck. this is in "play now" so i dont know if this will translate to BaGM.

i dont know if this is due to CPU difficulty is in 0?

Best sliders I've tried...very good job.

                      Only 3 changes I made:

                      - manual passing turned to ON
                      - pass assist lowered to 1 (down from 2)
                      - lowered cpu faceoff difficulty to 3 (down from 4 - I suck at them).

No other changes - good stuff!

So I can't decide between Speed 2 Acceleration 2 or Speed 3 Acceleration 1 ...At 2/2 the game feels smoother to me, but 3/1 feels less deliberate and closer to the fast pace of the actual game. I'm also considering upping the hitting power to 3 for more realistic numbers stat wise. What do you think?

I really like speed 3 and acceleration 1... On All-Star it doesn't feel cheap at all.

With the above changes I made, I also raised cpu difficulty adjustment up to 3 (from your 2). Just won a game 3-2 in OT and had a LOT of fun with the few changes I've made to your set. Thanks again!

                              Savoie,

in your inicial post you have tuner set version "latest". But your original post is from 09/09/2012 and i believe (don´t know for sure) that the latest tuner in that day was 1.01.

So my question is... do we always use REALLY the latest (it would be 1.02 now) or do we use the 1.01?

Thank you, and im going to try your sliders tonight! I believe they are going to be the best for me because i remember your sliders from past games, always good, and also mkharsh is very good at sliders and he endorses this so... they are a no brainer, im sure!

                              Thanks!
